This is an enjoyable article and poem in response to the word prompt “generation.”

I enjoyed the read AB  and can relate to your points of view. I have always loved the song “The Living Years” by Mike and the Mechanics too. It is perfect for this topic.

    Thanks John!
When I saw the word, generation, the song... specifically the first line in the song, "every generation blames the one before..." was the first thing to come to mind. So the poem was built around the song.
    Funny how that sometimes goes.

    A B...
    This is an inspirational article.

I don't know which generation we were in when everything started sliding backwards...but you are right...
We need to only look in the mirror at ourselves to begin Change.

I'm so sorry, but I think I missed this one.

November 16th was Ron's birthday & my mind must have been lost.

I'll post it in the word prompt article.

Thank you Brenda for including this one.

Every generation has had their share of mistakes, but all generations working together can work to fix those mistakes, while working, individually, to do great things! We've had quite enough of the opposite!!!
Future generations don't stand a chance if we can't come together, work together and get it together!!

Merry Christmas 2022 to you and yours!
Also, I pray that you are able to remember the happy times with Ron - and smile!

        Thank you AB....
It's gonna be a trying time since we have an impending winter storm on the way with bitterly cold temperatures.

I imagine Christmas get togethers will be delayed and I will be home alone with our furbabies.

It's fine though...as long as we are warm and safe.

I'll reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Again...so sorry I missed this one.

        Merry Christmas!

That is a very timely article, Angie. In these times when generations blame the earlier ones for all issues and problems, the need of the hour is to forget or, shall I say, eliminate the generation gap, gain and learn from each other's experiences and collectively solve problems. Thanks for some interesting thoughts, and a merry Christmas to you.

Thanks, John, for sharing Angie's thoughts.

        Thanks for commenting.
We try to {not keep it to ourselves} by sharing various articles of others, in this forum. We can't share our own articles here, however.
        Good luck.
