    Hello Rosina,
An interesting read about your higher education abroad.
Sorry to know that you had an accident and that your pain keeps coming back. The doctor is the best person to give the right advice regarding this. I hope you feel better and better and take medication, and strengthening exercises, if advised so.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Thank you John.

The pain is almost gone by now but it stayed with me for many years after. Thank you for your feedback on this. It felt great to read your caring comment. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it, Chitrangada.

    Rosina...
So glad you did get your visa to go to Germany, but sorry to hear you got hit by a car.

That alone, must have been quite frightening.

    At least...no broken bones.

Perhaps it was a hairline fracture....where there is only a slight crack in the bone but no break.

I honestly doubt this pain will completely go away...but I'll pray that it does.

It seems the cold weather, or changes in the weather like when its going to rain seens to make these injuries hurt.

I have an old injury just below my knee which I kindly call my weather baramoter.

I also had cracked ribs and they hurt as well.

I imagine your mother, as well as your friends, was quite worried about you.

Always get checked out.  Especially when you are in a different country.

    Take care.

    I enjoyed the article.

I guess, Brenda, you are right about my injury. It does go worse in winter and cool temperatures. Yes, everyone in my family was worried, and it was frightening for me, alone in a foreign land although I had friends to back me up.

I am sorry to hear about your below-knee and rib injuries. I suppose that is why you know how it feels like for me.

I am pleased to know you enjoyed the article. I appreciate your valuable comments. Thank you so much.

        Rosina...
I hurt my knee as a young child while at recess at school & my ribcage got injured in 1996 or so.

I can always count on my leg to let me know when rain is on the doorstep.

You'll be fine.  You'll learn to deal with it and soon be foretelling the weather.

It is sad to know how you hurt yourself long ago.

I guess it's good in a way that your leg can forecast the weather.

It's been years but my leg still can't foretell the weather although the pain is much better than before. LOL!

Hi Rosina, sorry to hear about your accident. Yes the pain can get aggravated as you age. But exercise and physiotherapy may help. You should consult a physiotherapist. Take care and stay healthy.

I am sorry for the pain that you have experienced, Rosina. If the pain returns, I think you should investigate it fully. That’s not something that you want to follow you through life.

Thank you for your advice, Linda. I will see if this winter brings back the pain and if it does, I will go for full investigation. Yes, it's not right to go through life with such discomfort. I appreciate your comments. Gratitude!!

    Rosina...
You should have a doctor evaluate your pain.
    Maybe do a few x-rays.

Never take things for granted...they can be early warning signs.

Yes, you are right, Brenda. They may be early warning signs. If the pain returns, I will take action. Thanks for coming back with the message.
