Dear friends, please allow yourself a little time to read the insightful poetry by John. Here is the link: … iator-poem

    Hi John,
Your poetry is truly ornamental. And I am mesmerized once more by it. I simply love the viator-style format in your poetry. And what's more I realize you are missing HP contests here. I do hope HP will host one this year. Be grateful for the award you earned in 2021 contest as the Best Poet. These things are always there to make us reminisce and treasure, more so we should love the giver- HP in this case. Thank you for sharing.

Rosina, thank you so much for sharing a link to this poem. I felt it had been too long since I published something here. I am glad you enjoyed this poem, especially the viator form. Yes, I miss the HubbyAwards the way they used to be (who knows if there will be one this year) but I still have a deep love for HubPages because it is where I started my online writing.

Such a lovely poem and I particularly love the viator form. It creates a rhythm and I could almost hum it.
I haven't been very regular on Hubpages for a while and the comment section being eliminated has made navigation cumbersome.
However,  as always, your poetry is inspiring, John. Thank you for sharing this.

Hello Cattaleya, I can relate to what you say, as I have not been very active here either. I am glad that you found this poem, however, and enjoyed it. Thank you.

A nice poem, John. I had to search for the meaning of 'Viator' before reading your poem. But, after reading, I realized that you provided the meaning and significance of it at the end.
I agree with your "Love the Giver than the Gift" tagline. That tells the true meaning of the relationships.
Thanks, Rosina, for sharing the link.

    Awesome work John.
I enjoyed your poem and the style--So creative!
Your title is beautiful and perhaps justifies our presence on Hubpages.
It's so good to read your poem after a long time and thank you Rosina for sharing it in the forum.
Best wishes to both of you.

Another poetic keepsake, John. I take the message to heart, and the simple form underscores its simple truth and authenticity, You preach in a few lines as powerfully as it takes some orators a lot more time to deliver. I really love your work.

Thank you so much, MsDora. I always try to get a message across in as few words as possible. I think poetry aids in doing that. I appreciate your comment very much.
