   Will the Republican Party Survive Trump?
   
   Trump is set to finish the job the tea party began.The destruction of the Republican Party.Will he succeed?

   The old republican party is already gone. The Teahadists are in full force, running 33 states, criminalizing women, destroying unions and stopping people from voting. Trump is the icing on the cake. He's the finisher, cause he does it so well. No one crushes like he does. It's culled from the Deep. He was called into being.

      Thank you mio cid. I read once of a certain type of demon people call forth when they want revenge. Sometimes when he speaks, I can see it.

   I feel the opposite.  I still don't believe that Trump will be the nominee. Somehow, Cruz will get it (not a fan of him either).  We'll go down to defeat and the rebuild will begin.
   The social issues will be the first to go.  These are settled and we need to stop using them as a wedge.  Middle class women have abandoned us and that is the reason. I don't care if it's the little old lady in Church, or the college student, no woman is voting to take away legal abortion again. It's over. Move on.
   The constant whining about Social Security needs to stop. Regardless of how many complain about it, they would never vote to take it away.  Too many elderly are dependent upon it.  No one wants to admit it. Once that is stopped, a new party can begin to emerge.
   From the ashes will emerge a more populous party and one tinged with libertarian leanings.  More Rand Paul and John Kasich. Little bit of Trump as well, minus the racism.  A party that is a big tent.  We used to get union votes, and Hispanic voters.  Soccer moms too.
   Everyone owns a hammer but you don't it need for every job. We can have border security without calling people monsters and rapists. 
   With the right people and message, things can get better.  Reagan was about the future. Hopeful messaging with a can- do attitude goes a long way.

      The thing is, anti abortion is in the party platform.They would have to write a new one.As well, the states that are preventing it would have to start over,and I don't see that happening.Maybe after many women and doctors are imprisoned, it will end.

   The real question is will the people and the country survive the republican party? If they can't get along within the party, then how are they going to get anything done in congress?
