The irony of Trump is the more he tries tot promote himself with lies, the lower his ratings go. It is having the opposite effects of what he desires. Too bad "the uneducated" he loves so dearly can't see that. His supporters could care less that he lies. They are holding out for the business man to make radical changes to the government that will be in their favor, as he promised.
Personally, I think you're confusing correlation with causation. The biggest reason his ratings are (or might be) falling is an unending stream of negativity from the left and the media. Even actions obviously good of the country are portrayed as evil, racist, bigoted and any other negative terminology that can be found.
The road is paved with broken promises and lies. Holding on to Trump as anything of any value is just stubborn and obstinate. Everywhere one looks, there only disharmony and failure in view. The uneducated are deaf, blind and dumb in regards to his schemes. Yes, he couldn't care less about anyone who are not a part of the oligarchy that he intends to create here in the place of democracy. Those that expect otherwise are taking part in a fools errand.
All it takes is a video, audio recording or transcript of his call with the leaders of Mexico and Australia to bring him down. The "left" and "media" don't have to provide an unending stream of negativity. He provides that stream quite easily on his own.
To my point, did the left and media create the story below or did members of Congress including Republicans create it in response to Trump?

psst... Should I tell him Prettypanther, or do you want to?
GA
I'm confused. Are you directing this to me or peoplepower?
You first, then peoplepower73...
It's UNDER-EDUCATED!, not uneducated.
Bazingo! ;-)
GA
GA: From Merriam Webster;
Definition of uneducated
: having or showing little or no formal schooling : not educated
Definition of undereducated -
: poorly educated
Notice there is no hyphen between "under" and "educated".
I was just quoting what Trump said in one of his rallies: "I just love the uneducated."
Bazingo! ;-)
-Mike
Oh gawd, it's Kathryn with the definitions again.
Mike, the reference was to a pre-election thread concerning studies that tried to determine who candidate Trump's supporters were. A lot of media, pundit, and us political discussion junkie's, time was dedicated to one category described as undereducated white men.
Perhaps you remember that thread? The point was that for anti-Trump folks, that "undereducated" quickly became "uneducated," accompanied by memes of Red Necks and pick-up trucks.
Prettypanther and I had a bit of an exchange when I challenged her use of "uneducated" when the fact of her comment was "undereducated."
Then, a few weeks back she and I had another exchange about something else, and she slyly baited me by slipping in that "uneducated" descriptor again. But alas, I wasn't on my toes, responded, and she got me.
So you can see now that the "undereducated" reference had nothing to do with what Pres. Trump said at a rally, (although his defenders are saying he said it as a jab at those earlier studies - not as an accurate descriptor).
So Duck! It's a ricochet Bazingo! coming right back at you.
GA
GA: The problem with Trump's administration is Trump. He needs to look in a mirror and blame himself instead of blaming others for his low approval ratings. He also needs to go to Presidents School and take a course in Elements of Being a President 101.
When he went to the Wharton School of Business, I think he missed the class on how to motivate people. It certainly is not done by insulting them like he is doing to Jeff Sessions. I learned in management, if you don't support your people, they are not going to support you.
Wilderness: What has he done that is so good for the country? Please enlighten me.
So you do not believe he is sincere when he talks to The Boy Scouts or the people of West Virginia?
You think the people that show up chanting "USA" cheering and applauding what he says are paid supporters ...
or what?

Rather sad, isn't it, when hatred blinds people to the point they cannot...no, WILL not...see good things happening. Here; I'll help a bit, and if you care to be honest you can find others:
Increasing numbers of illegal aliens are being deported, and the massive influx has slowed considerably.
Despite twisted liberal courts, he has limited travel from heavily terrorist countries until such time as those wishing to visit can be properly vetted.
That's three; a modicum of effort can produce more...if you're honest about the effort.
He's on vacation as of today. Thank God. Can that last for another three and a half years?
He's on vacation today and for the next 17 days. He is already taking 3X more vacation so far than Obama at the same point in his administration.
Fortunately, our country has no problems. He can coast as president. It's now a part-time job.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/pol … 5a7385f314
Wonder how many EO's he'll produce, or how many changes in cabinet he'll make while on "vacation".
Campaign slogan for whoever runs against Trump next time: Make America Good Again. . .
Kathryn: I don't know if they are paid supporters or not. Have you every been to T.V. show taping where they have "warm up people" working the audience to cheer before the talent comes on stage? I think that might be part of it. Many people of Virginia are Trump's "forgotten ones" who have lost their coal mining and steel working jobs and are still holding hope that Trump will bring them back. When in fact, those jobs are not coming back.
As far as the Boy Scout jamboree speech goes, the head of the boy scouts had to apologize to the parents for Trump bringing in politics and vulgarity about: "If you are successful like me, someday you can be on a yacht in mixed company, if you know what I mean." And then he lies in public that the head of the Boy Scouts calls him and says that was the greatest speech in the history of the Boy Scouts. The head of the Boy Scouts said he did no such thing.
He has lied about phone calls from the head of the Boy Scouts, and the President of Mexico both praising him...And his press secretary had to admit that there were no such calls when questioned by the press. She spun it that they were face to face conversations, that are also lies...and they can't be proven one way or the other.
I saw on 60 minutes where coal miners of Virgina are being trained to become computer programmers and developing new applications. What has Trump done? He has cut the funding for the programs. He is so caught up in lying to promote himself, that he can't even reason properly. I just hope he is not delusional, because I don't want a delusional president running my country.
At least he did't say un-mixed company! Then I would have become totally unglued as well!
And you also get the sense he is fighting fire with fire. Who is supporting Trump in congress? He has to rev up the engine of the PEOPLE!

Who are you calling uneducated?
I think that is pretty much the entire nation, but guess what, about half of the nation, at least, has common sense.
His supporters put him in the white house. His supporters support him to this very day. His supporters have H O P E for the future because they know he has a vision toward a bright colorful FLOURISHING ECONOMY, the RETURN OF JOBS, HALTING socialistic progressiveness, bringing EXPORTING back (he mentioned we are EXPORTING clean energy coal now.)
And yet some stand there with their BLACK paint brushes.
Put them DOWN already!!!!!
