Should taxpayers have to pay for the excess costs of Trump Maralago trips and Melania's security?

Trump and Melania are costing the US taxpayers an exorbitant amount of money for their lavish lifestyle. Trump is at Mar a lago almost every weekend which costs us $3 million every trip. Melania still lives in Trump towers which is costing us millions to protect. Trump says he would do away with excesses.

yes. we have to pay for the first family for as long as they occupy our gvt....however, we no longer have to heed republicans when they preach about "wasteful spending", or "fiscal responsability". that ship has sailed!

Your math is off. You didn't factor in all the campaign and fundraisers. Or the very expensive Michelle Obama vacations.

That's just a start: Trump's elder sons, running Trump Org, have been sent to other countries to make business deals while paying for their trips with taxpayer funds.

I say yes, but inside the White House, not at Trump tower.  If Trump and the first lady don't get along well, it's a big ass building.  I'm sure there are plenty of rooms she could hide in all day and they'll never see each other, if they don't want to.

i think shes in new york for barron. and i really dont have a problem with that...my heart goes out to him. but it certainly shows that "that", along with the military, is not a problem finding money for. its all games. they cut cause they WANT to!

"Hair Plugz" Trump is an "EMBARRASSMENT & Disgrace" who according 2 Investigative REPORTs, has spent a good portion of his life trying to "SWINDLE & Con from as many AMERICANs as humanly possible & his PRIMARY Targets According 2 "Trump University PLAYBOOK EVIDENCE", are Senior Citizens & Un-Educated Susceptible Gullible SOULs, a Perfect Definition of his VOTERs who are finally beginning to WAKE Up, Snap Out-Of It & JOIN the Resistance Against him ~

Given his OBVIOUS Meglomaniacal Tendencies & Frequent Halucinations, most believe he could care less about anyone but himself and in REALITY, the Feeling is MUTUAL ~ He's the ONLY Pseudo-President in my lifetime that could get RUN over by a 10 Ton TROLLEY Car and not a single solitary MOURNER would ever be found, Even Richard Nixon had those who showed feelings toward him ~ Even Melania we suspect would shed a few FAKE TEARs in Public then meet immediately with the ESTATE Attorneys in the Back-ROOM of some Russian Owned Property so she could begin Calculating her "WINNINGs" minus Chinese DEBT etc ~

I believe the actual number is 3.6 MILLION in Tax-Payer COST every time he Retreats his 70 Year OLD Tired Decrepit Body & MIND to Mara-Lago ~ In his short Chaotic & Danger Filled Tenure as FAKE-President, according 2 REPORTs, he's already ECLIPSED Pres. Obama's ANNUAL Expense ~ Did "Trump SHEEP" actually expect "Delusional Donald" would leave his FRAUD Filled MIND at the DOOR?? Well SURPRISE, or are they somewhat UPSET with shelling out major cash for this Unabashed CHARLATAN???

The President's and Vice President's immediate families; Former Presidents. All current former presidents are entitled to lifetime Secret Service protection.

Now Mr. Trump has his own security along with the secret service.

"“It’s playing with fire,” said Jonathan Wackrow, a former Secret Service agent who worked on President Barack Obama’s protective detail during his 2012 reelection campaign. Having a private security team working events with Secret Service “increases the Service’s liability, it creates greater confusion and it creates greater risk,” Wackrow said.    Keith Schiller the most important man no one has ever heard of.” That influence comes from Schiller’s ability to essentially control access to Trump, acting as his liaison to everyone from staff and well-wishers to dignitaries — and even Secret Service agents." -

"An odd and troubling incident happened on Friday MARCH 10, 2017 at the White House.

After a pool spray in the Roosevelt Room, President Donald Trump thanked the reporters, an indication that it was time for the pool to exit.

Yet when reporters tried to yell a few more questions, a fairly routine practice, Trump’s private security — NOT the Secret Service — crashed into the room and started to yell for them to get out." - http://latest.com/2017/03/trump-private … o-get-out/

But an even more interesting Question is the SS agent having Trump tower blueprints "stolen" from a car . Reported as a theft, nobody just steps out of a Uber car directly in/out steal and walk away.  I think it was stolen 'on purpose'. Why would Secret Service Agent Marie Argentieri leave a laptop in the car in the first place?!?!?

Recent events, like the guy that was on the WH grounds for 15 minutes before the SS got him. The SS is not as competent since they worked for 8 years under obama.
