Does God Support the Democrats? Maxine Waters thinks so...

   In an unhinged rant, Congresswoman Maxine Waters urged supporters to harass and protest any member of the Trump team they see in public.  She is obsessed with seeing the President impeached and will use any means possible to stir up trouble.  She feels this is justified because "God is on our side," referring to her political party.  She's trying to use the false narrative of Trump hurting children on the border to gin up support (how many children does Planned Parenthood kill annually?)
   
   The nation is at a tipping point when elected members of government are telling voters to harass other citizens - how soon until someone get seriously hurt, or worse?
   
   Do you believe "God" supports one party over the other?  Or does "God" stay out of politics?

      Religious people often, if not always, believe God is on their side. Of course, they can't all be right. Evangelicals say Trump was sent by God to save us. Sessions and Sanders both invoked the Bible to justify their family separation policy. Maxine Waters is just as nutty as they are to believe God supports harassing people in public.

                  not exactly true - the fastest growing religion over the last few years was Islam, but now its Paganism, I believe (people who are returning to the old religious and ritual practices of their ancestors (pre-Christianity))

                     Most people tell me they Spiritual rather than Religious. Just add paganism to your long list of non believers in God.

         To say that all evangelicals believe what you state is incorrect. Some who at least claim to be evangelical are indeed vocal about that belief/hope, but they certainly do not speak for all. To say they do is to stereotype people.
         
         As well, thankfully, anyone stating that all liberals stand with this Maxine Waters' position that it is open season on conservatives is also stereotyping people. In this case, though, it is a call to commit the felony of stalking people and worse, which is unwise for her and her followers, and unsafe for those these people attack.
         
         The bias involved in stereotyping is problematic for the person doing it, their cause, and for those who are being stereotyped. It is a waste of time and energy, foolishness at its best, dangerous more often then we think. Productive ways of communicating take more work and require a willingness to demand objectivity of ourselves no matter how we feel.

            Yet , the many many  Maxine Waters  of the left roll on unhindered by their constituencies ,  How passive  as the silent masses of the left  sit on the sidelines as their leaders call for even  civil obstruction , yes violence and destruction in front of microphones ?
            
            How honorable ,   You say..." not all stand with Maxine Waters ......."?
            No,  but you sure do ALL stand rather silently for such a vocal bunch .
            Mark my words about this , when the left finally gets violent , the right righteously responds in defense , That will be the fault of the right .

               Democrats may find themselves put out on their ear and grappling with how to reclaim their relevance. I read that a powerful Democrat was unseated in a surprise win by a dark horse socialist. This news may be a harbinger of things to come. Play with fire you eventually get burned.

                           No, I did not fall off a turnip truck. I am a legal editor and according to your sentence structure, that is what you said. I didn't think you realized what you wrote. Your sentence "Let's hope they are all replaced by something different." is ambiguous because "all" may or may not include the socialist/democrat who replaced the democrat. It is up to the writer to make himself clear, not the reader to guess at the meaning or to read a whole thread to make an educated guess.

                     I think the young lady and her success is good news, more of the Bernie Sanders style over the Hillary C. I welcome a fresh face and bold approach against an ever increasing and encroaching right wing machine. The true Progressive is nothing like them and I don't want my candidates carrying any their stench as my choice next fall.

               How about you provide us with proof of your understanding of the thoughts and plans of a Divine being Jake - you don't know squat about religion just like the many other topics you spew about.  And just to be clear - the Church you are supporting with such fervor - is being exposed daily for their lies and internal corruption.
               I think the Zero-Tolerance policy doesn't go far enough - I'd close the border if it were me - ICE would be elevated to the same level as the National Guard and given the mission to capture, detain, and deport anyone without proof of citizenship or legal entry into the country.

         Nature is my Religion, that make Trump out ten folded. My life is based on good sense, when any individual make good sense like pope Francis it can be incorporated into my circle.    It is my personal belief that God neither cares nor does God get involved earth's politics, and that includes the U.S's two major political parties. I believe that our heavens are so layered that the creator is isolated so far above his/her lower creations, like human beings, that he/she leaves all that to his/her lieutenants (you know, angels, archangels, saints, other spirits, etc.) However, since human earth habitants were given freewill, and even the Christian bible says that, none of them are going to interfere. Like in Star Trek there is a policy of nonintervention in effect. I believe it is being left up to us to work out our own destiny, and we are the ones in power. We are the good and we are the evil who are fighting this battle on the earth's plane. I think all prayers for intervention in politics, sports events, and the 4th of July are totally fruitless.
