   Biden says 'nothing has changed' but child migrants crossing the border at a record-breaking pace! And it's being reported few are being tested for COVID, and those that are are showing 10% have COVID. These children are being moved from center to center without testing, and some infected with COVID left to quickly spread it to others. Joe clearly did not learn a lesson from Gov Cuomo, now did he?

   These children are being housed in shelters that were meant to house hundreds of immigrants, not thousands. The children sleep on the floor in very crowded unsanitary conditions.
   
   Biden today comes out of his solitude and asks all Americans to keep wearing masks, and promising to speed up vaccination delivery.  Not willing to admit the horrible mess he created at the border and the fact he is allowing catch and release of adults, and unable to keep wake-ups from entering the US untested for COVID. The Biden administration is adding to the spread of COVID in the holding centers, letting hundreds of adults enter the country without being tested. And mixing sick children with well children.
   
   This is a full-blown crisis and Biden is more worried about telling American's to wear masks instead of stopping this flow of immigrants across our border.
   
   I surmise many of these immigrants took Biden up on his offer...  Makes me wonder if those that hope for open borders still think it would be a good policy?

      I am very concerned about the conditions at the border and an watching closely how the Biden administration is responding.
      
      As for immigrants flooding across the border, that has been happening since before the pandemic began. Were you concerned about testing during all of 2020? Did something change to prompt this newly expressed fear? Was there more COVID testing at the border during 2020 than there is now?
      
      I am definitely concerned about the children's welfare. I am less concerned about them spreading COVID than I am about the right-wing idiots who congregate in packs, unmasked, to flaunt their "freedom." The children are contained at the border, as you keep pointing out, whereas these selfish Americans spread it all around. And, to top it off, many of them refuse to be vaccinated.

         Yes, something happened to increase the fear of bringing COVID into the country via illegal border crossings. 
         
         Used to be that the people had to stay in Mexico; now they are welcomed into the US.  Used to be those that managed to get across the border were sent right back; now we have thousands that stay in close contact inside buildings meant to hand 1/10th of what is in them. 
         
         Used to be those that we kept were kept mostly at the border; now we will spread them throughout the country.  Those children are NOT "contained at the border": they are being sent to whoever claims them as parents, and to hotels all over the southern area of the states.

            Are American children are as of yet not in school to stop the spread of COVID. Yet this administration is letting people pour in to increase the spread.   And yes we do have American's that have made the choice to not abide by mitigations. This certainly is misfortunate, However, our Government has no right to dictate or mandate mitigations. This administration should be using common sense to not add to the problem by releasing migrants into the country Border control has admitted they can't handle the flow of migrants and hundreds are just not being apprehended. This president needs to get the National Guard to help control this crisis of people just walking in and heading off into the country.
            
            It's now clear this crisis is not being handled, and their attempt to hide it has failed. They can hide Biden, but this mess even though they tried to hide it is ridiculously out of control.

However, "Former President Donald Trump is considering visiting the US-Mexico border but is waiting for President Joe Biden to "fail on his own" first, former aide Jason Miller said in a podcast on Friday."

               I do hope he does get to the border to put a spotlight on this horrendous growing problem. It's clear Biden is unable to handle the problem Trump had under some control. Old Joe Chose to do away with solutions that were working pretty well on his very first day in office. His confused rhetoric also put out an invitation to al,l that want to come to come, Joe wants you to become citizens, so come on down...

         Oh boy, what convoluted logic here.   The illegals ARE THE PROBLEM- they are spreading covid.   The borders should be CLOSED so they can be prevented from entering America.    These illegals are unskilled- WE DON'T WANT NOR NEED them period!
