Idaho has joined other states in sending police to help patrol the Mexico border, as the current administration is abrogating their sworn duty to do so.  Both Texas and Arizona have asked for help from other states because of this failure.

The governor has posted a letter explaining his decision. It begins with: "Last week I announced my plan to send Idaho State Police (ISP) troopers to Arizona to help secure the United States-Mexico border and curb the flow of illegal drugs into Idaho due to failed Biden-Harris immigration policies.

The crisis at the Unites States-Mexico border and the alarming bump in illegal drug activity are direct results of failed polices of the Biden-Harris administration that harm the people of Idaho. Drug seizures for meth, fentanyl, and heroin have exploded since Biden took office and we’ve seen the highest number of illegal crossings this year in 21 years."

Pretty sad when states are forced to aid other states because the president won't perform his sworn duty.  How long will it be before states are forced to carry out their own deportations because Biden refuses to enforce the laws enacted by Congress?  Or will he simply follow Obama's footsteps and declare that anyone in the world can come in and become a citizen?

I am appreciative of your Governor's decision to step up and help Arizona.  It is very clear and obvious that the border is fully open, and hundreds of thousands are coming in monthly, bringing in drugs, as well as humans to traffic in nefarious ways. Not to mention the burden on all the states to provide for so many illegal citizens.

Biden did away with all of Trump's immigration policies that were working well, and now hard-working American's are the recipients of all the problems his open borders, and his verbal invitations to come to America has caused.

And yes, it is more than sad that Biden has turned his back on the border states by ignoring this horrendous problem he has caused. It's clear he ignores problems, other than presenting himself before cameras to offer words that are virtually meaningless.

You are factually correct, Biden will not even implement the current laws that were enacted by Congress.

I do feel very good to see some states stepping up to make an effort to bring some kind of law and order to our border.

In my view, America is in trouble with the Biden administration's lack of ability to handle many problems that are currently facing America. The problems are piling up.

More Republican Governors from multiple states, including Florida, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Ohio have heeded the call to help police the border.  They are sending state troopers or National Guard troops. I am very proud to see the Governors step up to help with this horrendous problem. They could care less about enforcing federal immigration laws.  They are sitting by while these illegal's spill over into every state, and cause all kinds of problems.

At this point, I am ashamed of the current administration. IMO, they care nothing about American citizens.

It is very heartening to know that REPUBLICAN Governors are sending state troopers or the National Guard to help out at the border:

        Florida
        South Dakota
        Iowa
        Nebraska
        Arkansas
        Ohio

        Thank You!

There are many movies which deal with the horrendous difficulties of border patrol.
