It seems that the Democratic Party is no longer for the solidly middle class.  The Democratic Party has metamorphosized into the party for the upper middle & upper class.  It has become the party of the highly educated elites.   It seems that the present Democratic Party has made America worse in terms of inflation & crime.   What is THE REAL AIM of the Democratic Party in America?   Your thoughts on the subject please.

I don't think there is a Democratic Party. It has been hijacked by the Deep State/Elites/Progressives/Marxists/Aliens.
      You need to rename it.
      Start it over again.
Restate your policies, hopes and dreams for the People who need representation: The middle class, hard working Americans who believe in family, law and order, helping out the down trodden, providing helping hands where legitimately needed, peace and contentment.

Could someone please state the policies as they used to be?
I think Kennedy Jr. has been trying, right?

Its been apparent what has been going on for several years now... those who had doubts have had plenty of evidence since 2016 to see just how bad things are:

"It seems that the Democratic Party is no longer for the solidly middle class."

I agree and offer several examples that the Democratic Party no longer prioritizes the interests of the solid middle class. First, the party's focus on policies like student loan forgiveness primarily benefits those with higher education degrees, often from more affluent backgrounds, rather than addressing the broader economic concerns of middle-class families who may not have attended college. Additionally, the party's environmental policies, such as aggressive pushes for green energy, while necessary for combating climate change, can overlook the economic impact on middle-class workers in traditional energy sectors or those who cannot afford the higher costs associated with a rapid transition to renewable energy.  Moreover, urban-centric policies and regulations, often driven by Democratic leadership, cater to the needs of metropolitan elites but can result in higher living costs and economic strain on middle-class families in suburban or rural areas.

Lastly, the emphasis on identity politics and cultural issues can sometimes seem disconnected from the everyday concerns of middle-class Americans, who are more focused on economic stability, job security, and community safety. The above examples work to highlight a growing view that the Democratic Party's current priorities do not align as closely with the needs of the solid middle class as they once did, just a few decades ago.

I wanted to find something simple to answer this with, because I think it has been beat to death, by me atleast... the whole Agenda 2030, UN/WEF alliance speal.

So here is something simple, something raw, that speaks to your question.

Sadly, despite all of it, I would bet you she will remain a devoted Democrat voter.

I think today's Democratic Party would sell out their own Mothers for power and for fortune.
They remind me of Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining', losing a piece of their soul and their humanity each day, until, as a political party, they've gone off the deep end.

I think they have been taken over.  They have been tempted by power and money.
... and ultimately, control over the affairs of men.

        Greed for control.

        Look Out, I say.

They have gone beyond THE PRECIPICE starting w/Obama.  The Democratic Party has sunk to the abyss since then.
