   Tom hasn't posted in 7 days. Maybe he doesn't love us anymore. I hope he's okay and enjoying a vacation somewhere. Does any one out there have any news?

      He hasn't posted the obligatory whiney hub that HP moderators have it in for conservatives. So it can't be a ban.

      HubPages should depict the people who are banned in a dunce chair the first time, in stocks the second time and being chained and whipped by a masked woman in tall black boots the third and subsequent times. This would eliminate wasting time on idle speculation and serve as a deterrent like capital punishment.

         Your suggestion about the boots and whips would not serve as a deterrent to Ron. Rather the opposite, I suspect.

   I'm not at all implying anything about the particular Hubber in question (honest), but people have been known to disappear, only to come back as someone else later.  (Kind of the Internet's version of the witness protection program - or something like I guess.    )  (Of course, sometimes the only thing someone wants/needs to protect is his/her own dignity after being a little too vocal somewhere along the way.  )
   
   Again, not at all implying this about the Hubber in question - just saying, that's all.
