Presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney on Tuesday asked President Barack Obama to "start packing", showing confidence that he would be able to defeat the incumbent in the November presidential elections. "Well, start packing. That's what I'd like to say," 65-year-old Romney told ABC News in an interview when asked what his message to the US President was.

"Obviously we have a very different view. The President, I'm sure wants another four years, but the first few didn't go so well," he said.

Romney said Obama's policies have not helped the American people. "They have not helped get jobs, they have not helped raise incomes and they've added trillions of dollars of debt." "He has guided America in the wrong direction, and it's time for us to return to the principles of freedom and opportunity that got this nation where it is today," he said.

His wife, Ann Romney, also had a message for Obama. "I believe it's Mitt's time. It's our turn now," she said. "We don't divide America based upon success and wealth and other dimensions of that nature. We're one nation under God.

This is a time when people of different backgrounds and different experiences need to come together. I happen to believe that I'm by far the best qualified in this race between myself and President Obama," Romney said. He alleged that Obama would try to divert the attention of Americans.

"The president is going to try and do everything possible to divert from the attention being focused upon his record as president and the failure of his economic policies. So he's going to try to make this campaign about the fact that I've been successful, that I've made a lot of money," he said.

How many ways can one say B S?

“Labor is prior to, and independent of capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.” – Abraham Lincoln

We in America have obviously lost respect for labor and we will get our reward in the form of third-world status and the loss of our country.

Reagan accelerated the downward spiral by implementing the “trickle down”. This is a reverse of wealth building for middle class people and we are now living the results. For thousands of years the world lived under the “trickle down” of their masters. We changed that for a while in America and now we are going back. Those who cheer this on should see what they are doing for their children and grandchildren."

Romney would be the coffin nail on our Democracy.

In fact--we need him gone, and all his co-horts in Congress too. Anyone who puts money over human beings---good riddance.

I'm a Mitten, but I think this is just false bravado. I believe Obama will win, and I think Mitt knows that. He's just trying to "sound tough" for the far right because they like that sort of stuff.

To win the election Mitt has to occupy the middle ground. The Right will vote for him anyway. Every voter he converts from Obama to Romney is the equivalent of two votes, so practically Mitt should move towards the centre.

I agree. Romney is a moderate, and he should act like one.

I'm sorry to inform people...but Mitt is no moderate. This is what he allows for supporters:

"If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him. […]

We’re Americans because we defied the king. We didn’t negotiate or compromise with the king. We defied the emperors. We are patriots. We are Braveheart.

We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Any questions?"
--Ted Nugent, Romney supporter, talk-hate radio head and of whom Mitt said:
"It's been fun getting to know him"....

All this outrage over "she's never worked a day in her life"....and Mitt and Ann probly have dinner with someone who said Obama should should suck on his gun and Hilary (Clinton) should ride it.

He wants to give more tax cuts to the uber rich, and gut agencies such as HUD--which helps...wait for it: poor people.
Gut financial aid for kids to go to college...wait what kids?? Poor and middle class.

He tells you Obama won't tell you what he's goin to do...balloney! We know exactly what Obama is all about.
    What about Mitt?

How is he going to pay for all that more money he will be taking out of the pool to give back to Adelson, Russsshhhhhhh...and himself?
