I definitely agree!  First off, men and women have completely different chemical makeups. Mens active chemical hormone is testosterone and females is estrogen. These hormones not only affect a person's physical body attributes but affects men and women's mental and psychological thinking.

I don't believe there wouldn't be a book out that has been as successful as it has if this wasn't true.

Women, by nature, tend to be more nurturing and sensitive.  It's also a proven fact that they typically speak more words/day then men.

Men are typically more risk takers and competitive by nature. They do not speak nearly as many words/day than their female counterparts do.

Some men work at a job where they speak to customers over a phone or in person all day. By the time they get home, they are ready to relax.  Their significant female companion wants to chat and know how his day was. Because their male companion has already exceeded his words/day, this can cause major conflicts.

Most women need to feel a connection to someone before they are ready to have sex with them.  Men were made to spread their seed and really do not need a connection before doing the dirty with them.  *I am not saying men are not faithful or don't feel a connection, just saying they don't need to feel a connection and are usually ready for fun in the sack a lot faster then females.

Yes  I agree. Males and Females think differently. Women say men cannot multi-task, men say women are illogical and totally unable to prioritise. I don't think it will ever change. Having been married for 44 years I do have some experience here. There is one other thing, don't listen to the people that say that 'opposites attract' they do not. It is said that opposites 'bounce' off each other and it makes for a happy marriage. It doesn't it makes for a marriage of bickering and constant unhapiness.
I have to say here that in all our years of totally fulfilled happiness, Pauline and I have never had a 'cross word' and if you believe that, you'll believe anything.LOL.

I couldn't agree with you more! Opposites may attract in the short run but it's like that attracts like in the long run. There is no amount of "communication" or "work" that can overcome being with someone who does not want what you want!

I believe there are gender differences built into our DNA. A lot of the issues which arise in relationships comes from (refusing to accept) that men and women think differently and they approach life's situations differently. This leads many people to try and "change" their significant other which usually leads to frustration on their part and resentment on the part of their mate. My take is if someone has to change their core being to be with you then they are not the right person for you... and vice versa. Everyone wants to be loved and accepted for who they are!
There are only two ways to experience joy and peace of mind in our relationships. We either get what we want or we learn to be happy with what we have. Most people lack the patience to find someone who (natuarlly agrees) with them so they take on the project of trying to "mold" the person they are with into the kind of person they (really) want.

I read that book, and I absolutely think a whole lot of what's in it is baloney.  Based on the people I've known in real life (both men and women), and based on what I know about how I think; so much of what is listed in that book is, as I said, baloney.  Having two grown sons and a grown daughter further confirms to me that the book is largely baloney.
