my boyfriend has black out drunks he is verbally abusive in this mode- normally he is a very...
kind person - he decides everyone including me is an idiot, out to get him ect. what is the best thing for me to do to deescalate the situation? last night he came in woke me up and started in on me today I am still upset and he has no recollection of any of it. Should I tape him so he can see how he acts or will that just make it worse. I am not crazy nor am I an idiot. Jagger seems to cause these more than any other thing he drinks
Your boyfriend seems to have an alcohol problem, probably related to "binge drinking". If he is waking you up and being angry at you, it could become abuse. You telling him what he did should be enough for him to change his drinking habbits, you should not have to go as far as taping him to prove it to him. He should take you seriously on your word. He needs to make a decision to change his habit or he will loose those nearest to him. Also consider he could become dangerous should he continue the same patterns.
keep it simple either you dump him or if your love for him is strong enough try to change him. Its hard to change an alcohol addict remember.
