i am now friends with an ex girlfriend on facebook, after having no contact with her for 5...
years. is it possible to meet up with her in person
This weekend an old friend of mine is visiting, with her fiance. He was her boyfriend 25 years ago. They reconnected and rediscovered each other. Yes, sure it's possible you and your ex can meet up again if you are both single, available, and open to the meeting. My advice is start off as friends. Talk, chat, get to know each other again first. Then see what happens.
the first encounter maybe awkward but once you just try and move on with it then it shudnt be a problem.
I'm guessing that the two of you are mature adults, why is it difficult for you to make a decision as such? Maybe you have a hard time deciding due to the reasons you broke up
If the silence for 5 years was at the behest of your ex girlfriend, you should rethink about meeting her in person. If you really feel that you should move forward in the relationship, just recollect the cause when she was separated from you in the past and further reassure yourself that no more break up will be there in the years to come.
How can we Hubbers tell whether you can meet her in person or not..????
Just call her up and ask for a stroll in the park....
Of course it's possible. Did she break up with you and are you still holding a grudge? Get over it and move on with your life.
If she's single and is living in your area, there's a chance of meeting up with her now that you've rekindled contact. You can use Facebook Chat to chat with her first or send her a message and ask her out.

why is there no advice for dealing with a lying ex girlfriend who broke a Mans heart? Seems like...everybody focus's on the woman and never admits that some women are just as abusive and cold hearted as the men that are described in most if not all of these relationship articles.
