When you’re on a date...
do you think the man should pay or not?
When I used to buy for ITT, and a salesman took me out to lunch, I didn't expect to pay. When I was young and a woman asked me out on a date, I didn't expect to pay. If I asked a woman out on a date, I didn't expect her to pay.
If you ask someone out, the cost is your responsibility.
I agree with MickS, if you ask someone out the cost is your responsibility. However, for me, if he buys dinner I usually offer to buy the drinks etc, or offer to contribute towards our date.
