When you look in the mirror...what image do you see of yourself?
I see as myself when looking in the mirror a great man who loves his family and willing to do anything to take care of them. But if i look closer i can see a great poet, a spiritual warrior that was to put on earth for the very purpose of enlightening people of the misconseption and lies that being taught in religion from all around the world
A wannabe writer who is living a different life just to have a place in the society of ours.
I find loving myself further and appreciating of what that is given to me. It gives me a sense of inner peace and I am ready to give my part to make this world a better place.
Someone who likes to laugh and seeks adventure whenever possible.
When I look in the mirror...I see myself overcome with negativity when I see other's flourish or when they turn sour towards me and would like to change that perspective about myself since; I can see that hinders my progress since mind keeps revolving around them and I don't want to waste my time and energy on such things!
I sometimes see a beautiful, smart, spiritual women.
I sometimes see an ugly, weak, unhealthy girl.
I am working on only seeing the first one
i've lost 35 lbs. since last July and my hair has grown out, i don't recognize who I am many times. it trips me out. i feel good and all but when i look in the mirror i don't always recognize who's looking at me.
I see the fighter in me struggling to get things right and make things work out for the best.
I mostly see a young woman that is smart, cute and very funny. At times I see a vaulnerable girl that needs to loose about 20 pounds. I'm trying to only see the first one.
An icon who will leave a trail on the sands of time before departing to the land beyond this world After emptying the treasury of achievements and then die an honorable death empty.
I try to look into my own eyes and see what other people see. I do this to try to get a different perspective of myself.
I see a reflection of myself. Reflection is the change in direction of a wavefront at an interface between two different media so that the wavefront returns into the medium from which it originated.
I see a beautiful, fine, young lady.
Maybe it is just my imagination or I'm being narcissistic.
But that's how I see myself. We should always be the one who instill positivity within ourselves.
I no longer look in the mirror as I do not recognize the aging person that I see. I feel no different than I did 40 years ago and expect to feel just the same for at least another 20 years.
I see a man who has been through miserable times in his 56 years of life so far,but has up to now, found trust, and genuine love in a very special woman who is at present 7000 miles away.A man who is to be trusted,in all areas of his life.I dont have wealth, but honestly, love, committment, sincerity, purity in heart, and faithfull to his woman. You will find me on website:LDR under moodychops.
Knowing that I am a CHILD OF GOD should make me see the BEST IMAGE ever when I look in the mirror. However, because of the trials of this world, sometimes I don't see what I should see but the image that the world has painted of me. We need to overcome the world and remember who we really are. I want to see the image of God in my mirror because He is my Father and I was created in His image.
when I look in the mirror, I see someone who can do much more in life.
I see someone who can't shut up about politics no matter how hard he may try.
I see a broken image. Each piece in the image is separate of itself. Some broken pieces are perfect, others are not. Overall the image is scarred and broken, but each piece in solitude is perfect.
It depends in what mood you are.....
If you're happy you see yourself beautiful, smart
If you're sad you see the opposite..
I see God's favour, a perfect creature showing forth the glory of God, a handsome guy of course and one who is unstoppable!
On a bad day, it's someone getting too old too darn quick!
On a good day, it's someone young, sexy and fit!
The real me.! Someone who were made strong by the test of time. Each time a look at the mirror, I want to congratulate myself for a job well done.
I see someone with a lot of potential but is yet to fulfil it. I see someone who wants to break the shackles, and live life to the fullest. To enjoy each and every moment.
I see myself as a smart, fun-loving girl I was in my teens most days. Other days I see that I am getting older and need to lose weight. I try not to see the negative, but at times it is difficult to ignore.
Some one who's a bit lost at times, who fights each day just to be here, But someone who has her good and bad days, who is not perfect, or pretty, or intelligent. who makes mistakes but is kind hearted, who will do anything for anyone! x
i see myself as complete and confident....and who can do much much more in life...
right now, sleepy eyes and a mustache that needs to be trimmed.
Never what I want to see lately... the thing about looking at the man in the mirror is that you can always see right through him...
I see my stubborn beer belly that I've been trying to get rid of far too long. Other than that I see that I'm getting tan in the summer, or dry skin in the winter. I also get self conscious that I may be balding lol.
There is a reason why I don't have a mirror...it broke the last time I looked in it. Kidding. The cat knocked it over!
When I look at my reflection I see someone who has a lot of potential in life. Someone who needs to get their butt in gear and actually start living. lol
I see a gorgeous extraordinary young man with an Analytically Imaginative mind. A man who is not just good but great at everything he has applied himself to so far. I see a man who has an unbreakable and unlimited rare confidence and drive.
Everyday there is a different face; it seems to be a pattern with my moods...
You can change your self image at anytime but you cannot change things that are concrete; but if you look in the mirror it may help you to change your way of thinking and see the truth of it all...
It is very hard to do. There us this old fat bald guy who always seems to get in the way.
And image of a lost little girl, who never found her way home
This may just be me, but it depends on the mirror:
My bathroom mirror - I look strong, and thin, and attractive.
My bedroom mirror - I look untidy.
Door Mirror in Work - I look immature, and small.
(I'm the youngest in the office)
In short, I think how look depends, entirely on how I feel. And how I feel depends on where I am. I must love my bathroom......
A beautiful woman past her prime, who can still smile at herself, even if she is not perfect.
In my eyes, I sometimes see a reflection of all the pain (and joy) of my past and know I learned a lot and all is ok.
I see my hair sticking out usually. It's funny that the grey hairs seem to stick out more than the brown ones, like they've lost their bendiness....I guess that's a biologists POV :-)
Hmmm.....good one. Ah! I guess it depends on whether or not I'm wearing my glasses!
I saw the me that I want to be seen. I smile to look cute or frown to look angry or nothing to look so prominent. I look side by side to see what is the best angle. You can't really see yourself just by looking at the mirror. The mirror shows reflection but with different directions:the right becomes the left and the left becomes the right. For me this is what life is: we always act the way we want others to see us but not because we act that way.
There are times when I see my mother, other times when I even see my grandmother; but now I can see my spirit and that is a good thing.
I see everything thats wrong with the way I look.
but on good days (which rarely happens) I see everything that everyone tells me.
I dont know what to believe still, my own eyes, or others.
when i look in the mirror i see a female who is a good daughter of her parents, good sister of her sisters ,best mother of her kids , best daughter-in-law of a best mother-in-law, best grand daughter-in law of a loving grand-mother-in-law ,loving and caring wife and selfless person in her self
Wow, what a loaded question... Lol
I don't think anyone truly takes the time to consider and reflect on all that there is hidden in the unknown that lies within the very image that makes up their reflection.
Reflecting on that image can be enlightening and lead to personal growth with truly knowing and understanding one's self.
I think if everyone took a long hard look in the mirror before making decisions both about themselves as well as decisions that will effect others, they might be far more inclined to do things that are morally upstanding rather than the latter.
I personally see someone who is capable of ANYTHING
I see Scars.
Skin that is not fully my own
Bits and pieces
Shreds of uncolored flesh that i have build up over the years, A mouth that always forms a fake smile,
And green eyes that recall Memories I no longer wish to see.
Though i see a strong man,
Overcoming, welcoming to strangers,
As many will see the bear-built man covered in tattoes and scars,
I see him as an experienced individual who has seen pain
WHo has felt remorse
who has learned of regret
and Is at inner peace with his past.
This is what i see in myself, and my future

When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
by Joan King 12 years ago
Do you dare look at yourself naked in the mirror and if you do why; if you don't why not? Many people are self concious about their bodies. Even persons that appear to have well shaped bodies may dislike looking at their bodies because they don't want to see the flaws.

What do you do when you recognize you've lost your confidence?Life's circumstances come and go. Is there any circumstance that causes you regularly to second guess yourself?
