If you had to choose? what would be your choice and why?

    Hi LoveJewel...

I think success is a very relative term, and its meaning is contained within each of us differently. Some are not happy unless they are pulling up to a 4 bedroom house in a Caddie, and other are perfectly content in a '66 chevy pickup and ripped jeans, surrounded by an adoring family. I have a very good friend who lives back from whence I came, and he was recently divorced. I had the misfortune of knowing his ex-, and a more miserable person you can't imagine. He was constantly downtrodden and spent his life in despair. One day, he just left...moved to a different town, got divorced, and now he's remarried to a fabulous woman who loves him with every breath. His move meant giving up a very lucrative job for one that paid about 10 grand less..and he recently told me it was worth every penny. So...which life was a "success"?

I say true love. Companionship trumps success. It's lonely to be successful without it.

Hmm, I would say being sucessful INCLUDES having found your one true love! They are inseperable! Simple.

In reality, Most people choose success first...and then depending on personality, success level, experiences and life lessons...everyone ends up choosing [or attempting to find] true love. Everything always boils down to this.
A movie that comes to mind: Immortal Beloved!

Maybe ONES meaning of success is to find true love and have a loving family.  Just because money has been the word of the day regarding success, doesn't mean it is the same for everyone.  There really is no choice, to some degree it's one in the same, just categorized and PRIoritized accordingly.  To some being financially stable and obtaining material wealth is thrown in the succeeding category while finding their true love and being loved is Success......CiaO
