How often do you date your partner and how does it help you relationship?
Hmm. My husband and I play in a weekly poker tournament and on a pool league, as well as go out to dinner about five or six times a month. Although they aren't really "dates," per se, I think doing so much together is wonderful for our relationship. Today, we're taking our boat out to the lake for a few hours after work.
Although we rarely say, "Hey, let's go on a date," these are the things we did when we were dating, too. If they suddenly vanished from our lives, I think it would definitely affect our relationship in a negative way.
Um... I've been dating my partner for over 2 years and it helps us remain committed but only by a little. We normally just focus on each other, not how long we've been together. He dated a woman for 5 years, then dumped her. So anything could happen.
