   Is the will of God stronger than the will of man?
   
   1Tim2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

   There is no comparison to be made to this question. God's will is of course stronger. But the verse you have expressed must be read further into the chapter talking about Jesus Christ being the mediator.

   12 Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are now far from my righteousness.
   
   Therefore if the Father will have all men to be saved, he WILL have it done whether men like it or not, or reject it or not.

      'Old law"? Do you think that what the Father said in the Hebrew scriptures is now irrelevant, somehow crossed out? He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If this is 'old law', then he must've changed his mind about his will being done.

      His prayer has nothing to do with the new and old law. God of course has not changed just the law. Do you still sacrifice animals, are you Jewish? Jesus was the final sacrifice. His blood is sufficient.

      Jesus gave a new covenant as the next stage on from the Mosaic Law. But please pray tell what has the Father's declaration that his will will be done in Isaiah 46 got to do with the Mosaic Law? Jesus confirmed his will be done.

   God is omnipotent, all powerful.  We are his creations so there is no question that God's will is stronger than man's.
