We'll never know, and that's my main problem with religions. With the ability to interpret any scripture in multiple ways, any prophet could claim a supposed evidence for their own religion.
The true religion is the one you find the best yourself. And then you'll understand that the meaning of religion is not a belief in a deity, but morals you find suitable and approachable, once again, yourself. There's of course the idea of an afterlife and other tenets, but as far as I saw no people could give me the same definition or description of heaven no matter how many people I asked from the same denomination.
