I hope it happens in a staggered out way. I'd really hate to see a mass awakening. that would be chaos. Some of you will become violent due to not being able to control your lower chakras and emotions.
Many if not most will think they are crazy. It could be a real nightmare if too many awaken all at once.
Although the end result will be a better society, in the process it could be really ugly. i feel sorry for all of us.
Let's assume that what you say is true. You say Some of you will become violent due to not being able to control your lower chakras and emotions.
How do you know you won't be included in those who turn to violence?
I'm referring to those who are prone to violence in the first place will have trouble with it. Normal people will have problems but it will be more internal.
What kind of "awakening" are you expecting to occur?
There are many warnings against it in the Bible.
I Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons...
II Cor 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
Lev 20:6 If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.
Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits[a] of the world, and not according to Christ.
I Sam 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has also rejected you from being king.”
Sinse I haven't been whoring after necromancers, I might just be safe.
3 words? That was what you got out of all those verses? Alright.
Stick to your Bible beth. There's nothing wrong with doing that. God uses every religion to wake you up. For you who is a true believer it wll probably be more like St. Teresa's seven mansions. Or St John's ascent of Mt. Carmel.
I will stick to my Bible. It's the winds of doctrine that will lead you down unsafe paths. Take care Jane.
That reference refers to this verse.
Eph 4:14
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
That would describe Christianity nicely compared to the age of reason.
Funny how the teachings of Christ have lasted for thousands of years and old testament scripture even longer. Nothing you or I could say could kill it. Truth will not be silenced.
That is a logical fallacy, and it ignores all other religions and the fact that Christianity is irrelevant and going the way of the dodo. It is dying and nothing you can do can save it.
Based on your logical fallacy, the Iliad and the Odyssey can be misconstrued that same way.
I wonder how many ppl preached your same msg. over the generation, yet here we are today.
"The number of Christians around the world has nearly quadrupled in the last 100 years, from about 600 million in 1910 to more than 2 billion in 2010. But the world’s overall population also has risen rapidly, from an estimated 1.8 billion in 1910 to 6.9 billion in 2010. As a result, Christians make up about the same portion of the world’s population today (32%) as they did a century ago (35%)."

The only thing that statistic shows is that indoctrination is alive and well...
"Reasons Christianity Is Becoming Increasingly Irrelevant"
"These facts are repugnant and may cause some to be offended, but like Patrick
Henry stated: “If I should hold back my opinions at such a time for fear of giving
offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason to my country, and of an act of
disloyalty to the Majesty of Heaven, Whom I revere above all kings.”
.
I have been a Christian activist for 46 years and I have concluded that:
For over 45 years we have lost ground to the Secular Humanists..."
The very lengthy list of facts goes on and on...

That's only because Christianity is the religion that the people in power(Western) forced upon as many people as they could conquer or exploit. Unfortunately, these people are still controlling us. If the culture, represented below, was in power, you would be saying the same for their religion:
Blindly spoken just like your Government wants you to speak. The bible is literally filled with LIES! Christians don't really care about truth, they are programmed to accept only what their leaders tell them is TRUTH.
I understand this is your belief. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for ignoring the fact that your bible is filled with lies, while you keep calling these lies truth. Thanks for sharing abject dishonesty, while totally evading the facts. Just proves how severe the hypnotic control is. Wow! A mind is a terrible thing.
And....have a nice day.
All that matters is truth. We have to seek it out at all costs. I wish you the best Jane.
Unfortunately, those costs have been very high in terms of lives taken, human and social corruption, hatred and bigotry towards others, oppression and of course, the destruction of the mind.
You cite verses from the Bible regarding Satan and how he is supposed to control innocent people making them do bad things, when it is that very book that makes good people do bad things, like stating that we have to seek out at all costs.
I see.
In that case, I don't think the 'awakening' will affect too many people because very few, percentage-wise, practice kundalini.
Thomas Paine successfully inspired and guided many freethinkers to 'awake' in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries when he published, "The Age of Reason".
Once you combine and balance your reason and intuition, you will have a glimpse of what it is to be awake.
"a better society" means the sky is falling? What, you want this crap hole to continue indefinitely?
Chicken Little also thought he was making society better or safer by warning of the impending threat that was surely headed our way. But, alas, he was just woefully misguided, and extremely narrow as he jumped to a premature and illogical conclusion.
Then, again, you could be onto something. But without any evidence of, whatever it is you are advocating, it is difficult to see your claim as credible.
Life sucks....then you die!
The way I see it is, if you listen to christian preachers and new age, etc, there all speaking the same language. I listen to them preach and find it quite weird a preacher just ads the scripture, but without the scripture you are going to hell. On the other hand, maybe we're all going to hell every day because we need to argue over religion and philosophy. While consciousness is in psychology text books just in a new vocabulary in the spiritual world, and philosophy. We just change the words and say if you don't agree you're going to hell. I've read hundreds of christian books, and weird how what the spiritual people say about stuff versus Christian is the same of course. Studying it all I believe some times we liked to believe the Christian's are following the right path. Hmm....what `i got out of all of it, is the same message. Walk in love and peace. Well I agree people are getting healthier and smarter, which they are self aware, spiritually aware, emotionally aware, and this generation is pushing things forward. This is what consciousness is being aware of deceptions, lies, manipulation, control, fortunately we believe what reality we choose too.
All interesting points. I would agree that we choose what reality we choose to, but I think it's important that we know there is a basic truth and we have to seek that out. You will choose which path you want to take, and I will choose as well, but we must acknowledge that whatever absolute truth is, we should seek that.
There are no absolute religious truths that have ever stood up to reality. There are facts and evidence about the world around us, which of course mean nothing to the believer who chooses to deny or reject them in their pointless quest for an illusive absolute, but it is these facts and evidence that are much closer to truth than anything religions have provided.
I understand that you believe that, when an 8-year-old girl is raped, it's her fault and the village must crush her skull with boulders until she dies.
Because, after all, that's what the Bible teaches. And you believe the Bible is good and holy.
You sound upset. Are you disappointed that I pointed out that lovely Biblical law?
No, but instead of being able to communicate with intelligent individuals about ideas that we share whether they are believers or not, I am instead constantly having to endure comments designed only to cause argument. Im sure old testament law has been explained to you dozens of times, but you wont receive any kind of explanation. I know b/c I've tried to have conversations with you before. Instead of the discussion of ideas and possibilities, you simply want to attack anything you don't understand, and it's not like you're willing to open your mind up... not even to the possibility of God, but to the possibility that there are indeed explanations for things you don't understand. I'm through with those kinds of conversations. They are dead ends. They are not enlightening, engaging, or beneficial.... they are instead tedious, ugly and worthless. I do indeed wish you well, I simply wont be goaded anymore to feed your need to spew hate speech towards a God you say you don't believe in anyway.
That sure is a roundabout way of saying, "Yes, I am upset. I and my kin don't want people to know about those laws because they might recognize that our religion is pure evil."
That couldn't be further from the truth.
You mean, just like you are not open to the possibilities of any other of the thousands of gods other than your own?
Like the hate speech your God spews at us? We would never stoop to that level.
"I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries; a world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you."
"You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."
The Matrix
My suggestion: Most people should take the bluepill!
An ancient relief depicting the usage of Clear Eyes?
Do you think you're funny? I think you will have a really hard time when it is your turn. I feel sorry for you.
Yoga actually helps us wake up. Waking up is a wonderful thing and not to be feared, ever.

How do you like to start your day?If I had my way, I'd have light curtains over my windows to let the light in to help me wake up at the crack of dawn. I enjoy staying in bed with my laptop on my lap and writing, or perhaps getting dressed quickly and darting out to a coffee shop to do some...

How do you like to start your weekend or day off?If the weather is nice I enjoy getting up early and making the most of the peace and quiet. If it's miserable and cold out, I'll enjoy crawling back into bed with my coffee to listen to the radio - quietly so as not to wake anyone else up.
