If The Pope Is Against Priests From Making Babies, Should He Then Be Against  Birth Control Tools?

I'm not a Catholic, but last I knew Catholics don't believe in conventional birth control methods, rather the rhythm method (obstaining when the mother is ovulating).  According to WikiAnswers, the average number of children per Catholic family is 4-7, while families that utilize conventional birth control have an average of 2.7 per family.

I believe God's instructions were "Be fruitful and multiply"  therefore any form of birth control natural or otherwise, including withdrawal is against God's instructions for procreation.

The Catholic "rhythm method" is rightly and disparagingly called "Vatican Roulette".

Priests don't need to "make babies".  Their flocks of sheep are doing that -- to excess.  And, BTW, they have altar boys to play with.

As to "be fruitful and multiply", didn't you hear the latest word from God:  "Enough, already".
