How can you tell if your home is being haunted by a demon

My daughter has reported the sound of animal whimpering in her bedroom, moving objects, a phone and a bag pushed on the floor and bite mark and scratches to legs, freezing temperature - what do we do we are really scared

Hm.  I'm not sure what a clearing is either... And not sure if you are religious, but you could always have a priest come and bless your house.  There are also spirit and paranormal experts in most areas that could offer professional advice.

When you sit something down and turn around for a moment, and when you turn back it is gone.

Well, England/London is extremely full of these...spirits. I belive the reason for that is because of years of practicing various types of magic on your island.

    1. Do not be afraid, fear is making things worse, and you are giving the power to this energy creature with your fears !  This is exactly what it is - energy creature. It cannot harm you seriously, but obviously can cause some inconviniencies to your daughter.

2.Move your daughter from her bedroom, the best would be that she sleeps few nights with you, to feel protected.

3.Discuss with her about the details - how this started, when this started , if this is happening only in her room, she might attracted this energy creature subconsciously, by reading some book or watching some TV program about warewolves or something similar ! Yes, to sensitive people is as simple as that to attract such energy creature. In worse option, did any of her friends (i donĀ“t know how old is she) perform some kind of magic ritual in her presence? Even as a joke?
In London is extremely easy to non-intentionaly attract such spirits (I was living there years ago, so I know and have my 2 non-intentional experiences with spirits ).

    4. Very possibly that creature will just go away when it does not have whom to hunt (your daughter will not sleep there for some time) if it is connected only with room of your daughter...I hope "it" is not directly connected with her, that is the reason why you need to discuss with her about above mentioned possibilities.
If  this creature is connected with your daughter, then clearing the house might not be sufficient. If the creature is connected with house, maybe it will go away on it`s own (if you all stop to be afraid).

    5. Clearing the house means - to kick out demonic energy on some  way - by using meditation  or strong mental powers or whatever tecnique some expert uses to send this energy away and make protection from coming back of such creature. It is very possible to do it long-distance. (I also know how to do it but charge for that service, LOL).
