    What's your opinion about this?

There is one being who can't think and can't have a sense of humor. That being is God. Thinking involves moving from one state of knowledge to a better one. Since God has perfect knowledge he is always there already. So thinking is not only superfluous but impossible for him. Nor can God have a sense of humor since there can be no surprise when the punch-line has always been known.

those attributes are for the limitation of man. God operates at a realm beyond the reach of man.

Being able to pre-empt everything has got to be some form of disbablity.

Or, is it simply that we are disabled as a species - and our bodily/mental abilities (or lack of) just further disable us?

Which would make such an entity as God perfection personified.

    An interesting concept...

Disability through excessive ability. Missing out on the human aspects of life that enrich our existance by being lifes creator.

Doesn't sound like much fun, does it?

I think I'll stick to being a mere mortal

Remember that the fear of being a mortal is an eventual putrefaction.

Haunty, you've been posting some interesting questions.

I'd say that even if God knows everything, there's always a way to entertain himself by rehashing the stuff He already knows.  I think there's a lot more to thinking than just learning or trying to figure things out.

As far as sense-of-humor goes, He may not appreciate jokes with a punch-line (although He may get a kick out of people's good nature in telling those jokes); but there are a lot of other ways to enjoy humor other than just jokes with punch-lines.

Of course, I can see how He could be suffering from depression or PTSD if He has to watch some of the stuff that goes on in the world - so I suppose those could be considered forms of "disability".  hmm

Wow, this is deep. Reminds me of the old riddle (or whatever you call it): If God is truly omnipotent, then He should be able to create a rock so big that He himself couldn't lift it, but then if He could, then He is not omnipotent because He could not lift it.
