   They want to do their own will above GOD'S will and ultimate purpose for their life on the earth. The results are easy to see and manifested in that person's life.

   Life is this...
   
   Good vs Evil
   Flesh vs Spirit
   God vs Satan
   
   We don't always do good things, our flesh does get the best of us and we don't always listen to God. This is why God sent Jesus to die for our sins, He knew we had no hope without forgiveness.
   
   So, Why does one try to have their cake and eat it too?
   
   They want to do things and live life by their own means (flesh) instead of by God's will (spirit). People often find its easier to be evil then it is to be kind. Most wont even see what they do as evil or "not" good because they are simply enjoying their cake too much. They often see what they thing is wrong and whats right and are content with this, rather then looking to God and seeing thru their spirit what really is and how it should be.
   
   A great example is sex. Sex before marriage isn't thought of evil because it is out of "love". They only see it this way, because they are "okay" with it. If you understood God and what purpose sex had IN marriage, you wouldn't want a piece of that relationship killing cake!

   Why does one try to have their cake, and eat it too?  Is sex before marriage eating cake, and is it keeping the cake whole?  Yes, you will eat the cake, but you will reap what you are sowing. The cake over time loses its appeal.   
   
   There are many who live together, but are not married, and yes they bring forth children, but what are they reaping?  They will ultimately reap what they are sowing the cake will disappear too, when judgment comes.  No it’s not illegal, it’s not breaking the law, but the partners are ignoring god’s law:
   
         “Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.”  (Hebrews 13:4)
