Spirituality; only thing. Nothing else; no money; no love; nothing. Just be one with that which is and you will be that which is one again. No longer broken. Fixed! smile Good luck my friend. Seek to pervade not to destroy.

Always remain contented then it will keep a person cool and calm. Thus, with calmness the evil thoughts will perish which will maintain faith in God.

That's my recipe of being happy in life.

For me, Prayer is key. Also, gratitude, singing and forgiveness (others as well as ourselves).

Having faith in a higher power, (God) is number 1.

Also, letting go of the past and always doing your best.

Love, gratitude and balance.  In that order.

I would have to say love, gratitude and being true to yourself. Each bring fulfillment.

it is a combination of things rather than a thing...it is being at peace with yourself...feeling comfortable in your own skin...
it is having a spiritual grounding of your choice...some way to stay focused and centered
it is surrounding yourself with sources of energy and revitalization ....a strong circle of friends and family...
    it is never settling...
it is finding the good in others
it is refraining from saying or doing unkind things

Being content with what you have, or being content with even less than you have.  Also, appreciate the wonderful people you have in your life, especially loved ones.  Having love in your life is the most important thing of all.

Reading is my passion and makes me happy. Giving of myself to others would be number 2 and the last one would probably be reminding myself of the things in life I'm thankful and grateful for.

An intimate relationship with God is the most important thing for remaining full of joy. Happiness comes and goes; but joy is a constant when you know the Father and know who you are in Him.

To answer the question, if I could chose three things that would cause me to remain happy, they would be the following: (1) Not to ever search for happiness or attempt to be happy. (2) Not to ever search for happiness or attempt to be happy. (3) Not to ever search for happiness or attempt to be happy.

What I am driving at is, I am what could be described as a happy person, and I did not become that way until I stopped searching for happiness and attempting to be happy.

Way back in the day when I was constantly searching for happiness and trying to be happy all of the time, I constantly attempted to find happiness by doing such things as drinking heavily and using drugs, looking for love in bars and night clubs, "praying to false idols," pursuing goals that it was both impossible and unnecessary for me achieve, and bending way over backwards in futile efforts to make everyone love me.

    1. Money
    2. Making a good salary.
    3. Investing and saving money.

Money means more options and choices in life. It also means the difference between being impoverished/struggling and having the ultimate financial freedom to live the life one chooses.  It means better quality of education for one's child and a better quality of life/care for loved ones. It means an easier, worry free lifestyle.  Money means happiness and freedom to be what one wants and chooses.
