   What is the Violet Flame? And how would you define it?

      The violet flame is invoke to protect, heal, clear and cleanse... it is with St Germaine if I am correct and it does amazing things. There are great healing liquids called quinessences that have the St Germaine vibration as one of their healing bottles, and it is amazing. I have seen dark spots of negativity and thought forms disappear almost immediately.
      
      I invoke the violet flame to protect and heal my home and environment.

      are we allowed to post links that are no personal promotion? anyways, i've been reading up on the violet flame and it seems it is associated with st. germaine. interesting character and stories surrounding him.
      there is a meditation that you can do called the violet flame meditation and a lot of people really enjoy it. i've never done it.
      BUT a weird thing happened soon after i began reading about st. germaine. i've been a little depressed, or should i say, overwhelmed lately. i was laying in my bed trying to shut out the world one afternoon and i just started seen a violet light, sort of like i was looking at my own aura, but not in a mirror. like in a cloud of violet, it was beautiful. i feel strongly that it was the violet flame energy that i needed even though at that moment i had not been seeking it out.

   Shakuntala Modi has an excellent meditation for this in her book Remarkable Healings. She uses it primarily for cleansing attachments to the energy body.

   I've been doing violet flame meditations/visualisations for years now.  This energy was part of my healing practice daily and is very effective in dealing with past life issues or stubborn issues from childhood that crop up and sabotage what you are doing today.
   
   Violet Flame meditation is very transformational and should be handled with care as it can bring up many things that then have to be dealt with before you can move on.Small steps and dealing with one small issue at a time is my best advice.I was considering writing a hub about the best practice,you may have just prompted me to do it with your question.

   knlub2: I agree with perfumer too, but I think the Violet Flame is more than "the flame of forgiveness or mercy." As I use my decrees and visualizations, I am beginning to think that the Violet Flame is a process of tapping into and connecting with the healing power of God!     Have you ever noticed the voiolet hue in a fire? Have you noticed violet is always at the top of the rainbow. And, if you have intuitive eyes-have you noticed that just above your head is a constant and voilet hue? Violet-the lightest and fastest vibrating of our energies-most closely related to spiritual thought.

    I BELIEVE we are on the right track people!Especially with the violet light and it's association with the p-gland at the top of our heads.
    
    One method to 'see' and 'seek' your aura and colours...
    1)Bathe and meditate to clean your 'busy' thoughts.
    2)Hang a dark coloured(preferably black) coloured fabric over the shower bar,or whatever is opposite of your bathroom/bedroom mirror.Observe your naked body.What surrounds the body.
    3)Breathe deeply,and observe these first signs;squigley lines rising from your head,similar to "heat rising from a hot summer road"Hence,your first glimpse of the thousand petaled(sp?) lotus.The 'etheric aura'.
    4)Stay focussed on Nothing,and observe how many colours and Chakra positions you see squigles or emanating lines.
    
    That's only as far as I have got,but please!~Expand and go beyond.Healing and enlightenment is within our grasp.

    I appreciate all of your comments. It's interesting to me that so many people are posting about their opinion of the devil.
    
    I think we need to spend way more time learning about how to go into the Light whether it is gold, pink, white, or purple.
    
    So, let's keep the discussion going folks. The more I work with the concept of "walking in the Light", the more I am inclined to believe that the Purple Flame is all about connecting with the Holy Spirit.
    
    So let's breathe in the Purple Flame together and claim that Power to heal and attract all that is Good today!

    Hi there, everyone! Brothers and Siters of the Light! I didn`t know there were so many people here at HubPages who shared this interest! Well, I have been barely for 5 weeks and it is the first time I get into a Forum to read about what interests me!
    I have known and used the Violet Flame for a long time! I visualize it very often when I want to transmute bad vibes or when sending protection to others through visualization! Some say that Ascended Master St. Germaine is the AVATAR of this Aquarius Era!
