If Hitler asked for forgiveness right before death, would have God granted it?
Of course, if he genuinely repented and accepted Christ as his savior he would have been forgiven and allowed entry into the kingdom of heaven.
I cannot speak for God - for death and judgment are His and His alone. Only the Almighty can see into a person's soul and only the Almighty knows how one has spent every moment of every day since their birth. Only the Almighty can judge sincerity and the value of one's apologies and the truthfulness of their repentance. Only the Almighty can measure one's faith and judge one's belief.
Hypothetically speaking, the answer is "Yes". It is possible, for even the most depraved of us to be saved, if the Almighty sees the conditions are agreeable to His Holy Spirit.
The perfect sacrifice of Christ is more powerful than all the sin the world can muster. If Christ Jesus says you are forgiven...you are forgiven indeed and I don't care who you are or what you have done.
Interesting first two responses Dubuque and CJ. I wouldn't have guessed these points of view as of yet.
Thanks for your input!
Yes because forgiveness is promised to a repenting person.

This question was pulled as a question, so I'm submitting it in the forum instead:If, with his dying breath, Hitler had asked Jesus for forgiveness, could he have been admitted to Heaven?
