What is the best thing your faith in God has done for you?

I have heard a number of stories from people on how one's faith has changed their life. I have even seen change in people who at one time was a non- believer and was in situtations that no human being should have to go through and yet, against all odds, found the love of God.

It has given me the assurance that God knows everything that I will go through beforehand and He goes through it with me.  I am assured that whatever happens is for my good because "All things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."  He never puts more on us than we can bear.  The things we go through help us attend to others as they go through.

I think my faith has given me hope that I will see better days for myself and family. My faith has allowed me to get through some very trying times. Faith can change a person or a situation for the better. My faith most definitely gives me hope.

wheatbaybay- Life has a way of knocking us down. It's great when faith in God and our LOrd Jesus Christ gives us the strength to stand back up on our own two feet. I know what you mean. Thanks for you answer.

I think what it's done for me is that I now know that I never have to make a decision on my own, unless I choose to. Unfortunately, I choose to a lot and it usually doesn't work out very well. Making a decision based on what my heart tells me God would want me to make, doing the right thing, isn't always what I WANT to do. The right thing doesn't always feel good. But it usually works out for the best. When it doesn't work out, it's because I'm doing what I want; not what God wants. If your doctor tells you that you need surgery, of course you don't want to, but you do anyway because you know that's best. Same with God. I'm never alone.

IDONO- It nice to know that we don't have to make life's choices alone. That God is with us each step of the way. Great answer and thank you

It has saved a filthy wretch like me. I do not deserve his grace, nor does anyone. But, by the grace of God and the salvation that is offered by our savior Jesus Christ we are saved from eternal damnation.
