The Spirit in you is God. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"  "Therefore glorify God in your body."  " Love the Lord your God with all your heart all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."

Invite God to be part of your life through prayer, reading the bible, serving others, and doing other Christlike things.

Your question is wonderful , but basically it depends on you, if you are a child of parents ,how do you know they are your parents. By there presence also, they care for your needs. Our Heavenly Father also cares from a grand scale. He continues to care for things we have no control of, the sun ,moon and stars. Our planet is perfect for our habitat as humans and animals, we do not fly out in space, and from protective force fields we are protected from many destructive meteors, we have just enough oxygen to fill our lungs, and we have gifts ,the earth to care for ,and animals, true that many do not appreciate these wonderful things, because everything that is good they contaminate, and destroy the natural use. It is like a beautiful aquarium with exotic fish, you care for them ,but you must not be careless ,the tempt must be just right and the water environment with enough salt water or what they thrive in,  even to the point that they are not alone, they have companions. Our  Heavenly Father who created all things can be found in the original Hebrew and Greek writings ,his name is Jehovah! His name was given to Abraham, Moses ,and Jesus made his Fathers name known also. Reference Bible Ex 3:15 Then God said once more to Moses: “This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, ‘Jehovah the God of YOUR forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to YOU.’ This is my name to time indefinite, and this is the memorial of me to generation after generation.
Even Jesus was concern about his Fathers name in the prayer he taught us ,this is a key to the right God.
,Reference Bible Mt 6:9 “YOU must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.
How can you if you do not know his personal name?
That is the key to to the beginning of a personal relationship,
Your parents gave you a name too!
What your name represents is up to you.
What Jehovah name means, he causes to become, meaning he is the God of the living not of the dead.
Reference Bible Mt 22:32 ‘I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob’? He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living.”
So fitting that many that died will return. Because they are in his memory that they keep living.
What does this all mean is just like your parent you have a relationship with ,So can you. For a book carries the thought and intention of the Author so does the bible. Continue to read it. And for help as and aid wwwjworg will help you .

You question indicates enquiry and as such yearning or longing. Without Aspiration - the burning intensity for Truth - it is impossible to find God. The child cries when it is hungry, and the mother comes running. So too, God responds to the call of the devotee. Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you.

Talking to you from the standpoint of Patanjali's ladder or 8 limbs, I will guess that you are close to the first two.
    1. Do's and avoidances. Let me simplify it. Try to live a loving life, striving to do good things and avoiding negative or wrong actions.
    2. Hatha or Asanas. Exercise and postures. I did not go the way of postures, but exercise will most certainly help you.
    4. I have skipped the third. It's all about breath and the control of the life-force. You simply need to breathe slowly, and gently. The other limbs: concentration, withdrawal of the senses and meditation, will teach you all you need to know.

So practice concentration and if you need help, come back to me. If you can't then pray early morning and evening daily, and practice sitting in silence. As you become used to this, the Higher Forces will descend to help according to your inner cry. Read spiritual books and sing devotional songs daily. Drop your negative friends as well as unnessesary parties and let your mind be fused to the love of God.

Your angle of vision should be one-pointed. Seek friends of like mind. There are some key things in respect to diet and lifestyle, come back to me when you are ready. God speed!

After more than 4,000 years, authentic Kabbalah has been made public.

This is the science of spirituality -- how to correct the 125 levels of ego, finally to throw off that burden of evil and separateness.

Kabbalah helps the individual achieve a oneness with God by correcting each of our own attributes to those of the Creator. Instead of looking out for "self," we look out for others. Instead of hating others, we are only love.

Why don't you feel the presence of God? It's because you aren't abiding in the Scriptures. If you are a true believer, then Christ already dwells in you. Romans 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” If you don't have the Holy Spirit in you, then you are not saved, plain and simple. If you are saved perhaps this Seven Ways to Sense God's Presence will help.
