I would recommend praying and asking God if he is there rather than asking the internet.
Through internet you can share your experiences and perceptions of God which may be of some guidance in finding answers to your questions. So sharing of experience should not be belittled. Praying God is the best choice, but don't ignore us.
I strongly believe God is here. You are alive to ask this question and that means, God has kept you alive. He has given you the life and therefore, he is up there to see and guide you.
While you have a right to your opinion, your "because...therefore" statements are not necessarily true. They MAY be true, but the evidence for this remains to be seen for most people.
Hey Robert... its my believe and I have felt the existence of God in every stage of my life. there are some things in our life which are beyond our explanation..... I just pray you soon get his evidence
It is mathematically impossible for the universe to have been structured by random processes. Considering the amount of information required to build the universe, and all that it contains, God is the only one with the credibility and qualifications to get the job done.
I believe in God and think he is there "real". Without Him, we can not explain all these wonders of our universe and beyond. But I may not be able to prove to others about His existence.
Yes, without a doubt. The whole universe could not have simply suddenly appear. I agree, it is beyond our imagination so God has to be as there is no other way.
I have not been able to find any evidence to lead me to believe there is a god. So in my opinion, no. I don't believe you should listen to me, or any one person for that answer though. I would say look and both sides and make your own choice.
Here are some books to get you started. (They offer both perspectives)
Case for a creator by Lee Strobel
God Delusion by Richard Dawkins
The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief by Francis Collins
The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution by Richard Dawkins
See, evidence is something physical whereas belief is non-physical or some innate feeling and satisfaction derived by you. You can not explain it in words or provide proof. Literally, proving to others is impossible. It is some self experience
I understand your point of view Venkatachari. Unfortunately feels does not cut it, there are so many gods that people have "felt" now and in the past. But you probably agree most of them are wrong. What makes your feels right and theirs wrong?

Does anyone have any evidence for the existence of God?I am an atheist, which to me only means that I haven't been shown requisite evidence to convince me of an omnipotent, all-knowing deity of any kind. If you would, please bring forth this evidence and deliver me from a fiery...

What is the best way to explain the existence of God to an atheist?I've heard people try to convince atheists that there is a God by quoting the Bible or some other holy book. But quoting from such materials won't work. You have to believe in them before you can accept them as plausible...

What makes someone who wants to believe in a God incapable? No matter how much I want to be part of the majority my brain just doesn't allow for the belief in a God. What is different about the brains of non believers (or maybe it's just me) that makes me/us incapable of belief even when their is a...
