After knowing these info would u still think Roman killing Christians as evil?
And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul, but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.2 Chronicles 15:12-13 (According to records outside bible, Emperor Nora only order killing Christians that broke the law and others are not to be touch)
Killing Christians in the arena with torture and wild animals a good idea?? Killing anybody a good idea?? I'm not sure if you've given this a lot of thought. It seems to be an obsession with the old testament that is starting to appear odd. When you get the right answer you don't accept it. If you're an atheist you are bound to look at the archeological and anthropological side of things. You know, science and social evolution etc. By taking a "this is what I would think if I was a Christian " attitude doesn't work as logic. It sounds like you've lost your moral compass.
The bible teaches to kill people ISIS style, when Roman kill these Christians extremists, is it any different from how we today kill ISIS? Rome didn't kill all Christians, only law breakers, in other word those who kill non beliver ISIS style
Peter
it's hard to talk with you as your historical knowledge is badly lacking. You have a grudge (or a cross?) to bear about these things.
Read your bible, according to it, you should kill non believer ISIS style. Christ is literally no better then ISIS. No wonder Emperor Nero would feel he need to kill Christians.

Our religion requires that we love our God as He has loved us, with all of our heart mind and soul, and that we love each other as He has loved us. Mohammed brings death not love to the table. What say you?

Is there a god that one should be willing to die and kill for?It would seem that the history of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is steeped in the savagery of brutal force in the conversion and subjugated obedience of minds. That such behavior continues today, at what point in human evolution do we...

Does anyone else find it ironic when America's 'Religious Right' (comprised largely of those identifying as Christian) sees fit to "stick to their guns" about the 2nd amendment right to bear arms? It seems to me like this would be in 100% direct opposition to the charge that they...
