Are you saying you're a survivor?
Would you like to talk about it, or are you just bent on insulting others who perhaps weren't a victim of that particular event?

I use to work with alot of older people.  I actually saw that brand on a mans' arm.  It was light blue and faded just like you would see on a side of beef or Pork. I'll never forget how degrading it felt to see that on a human being.  He always tried to hide it because he didn't want to talk about it.
So I could understand People thinking there is no God. But, the people freed from those death camps might disagree with you.

In my belief of God, God isn't a slave owner. God allows us freewill to choose to do evil if that is our choice. The fact that some chose to do evil is not proof one way or the other, of the existence of God. I for 1 believe.

Hi there, RKH! I am sorry that you think your picture proves that there is no god.  You are certainly welcome to believe whatever you wish about this image and about the existence of God. But, as you know, it it impossible to prove a negative.  In fact, this whole thread seems more suited to the Atheism & Skepticism forum rather then to this one.

However, since you asked for photographic “proof”  and everyone knows that such "proof" does not  exist anywhere, I can offer the following “proof” that God does exits knowing that it is just as valid as yours:

Irena Sendler was a remarkably heroic woman who risked her life to save thousands from Nazi death camps in Poland during WW2.  The whole world can learn a lesson from her bravery. Apparently, four high school students in rural Kansas are credited with bringing her story to the attention of the world.

That is only proof that there is evil.  You can't prove a negative, so you can never "proove" there is NO god. That photo could be evidence that there is a God but one that is incompetent, takes long vacations, or is hateful towards certain races and ethnicities (which many people will agree), so you haven't proven the non-existence of god, merely that He is not all-knowing, loving, and merciful to all men if he exists.

At least a logical answer.  But still no photographic proof provided to that either.

I found proof there is no God.  I challenge you to find proof that there is.  Photographic proof.  Something tangible.  Come on Christians, what's the big deal?

    1. Shadesbreath profile image78
Shadesbreathposted 14 years agoin reply to this

You don't proof of there being "no God," you have a piece of evidence that you could use in an argument against the existence of God.  Huge difference.

I can show you a picture of the planet and call that proof of God.  You could show me a picture of a starving child as evidence against.  I show a flower or a laughing baby, etc.  Could go on forever.

You don't have "proof;" you have visual arguments taking the place of the endless textual arguments that usually go on in these forums.

      Ghandi
      Any birth
      Any sunset
      Nature
      Homes for the poor
      Doctors healing for free
      Etc

Pics are not proof of the existence of God or not.
      It depends on your view
For a Nazi ,your pic is something else.

There is proof of God.  Your turn.  (See how that works).

You're just perpetuating the unending God/no-god debate, but in photographs.  I've already told you what your next move is, go find a starving child photo, or someone suffering from a horrible disease... then I'll get something beautiful and loving to show, then you get something horrible... and eventually we'll have to start typing instead, and then we can just cut and paste from any one of 9,000 forum threads going on now or previoiusly.

    And RK Henry,
God never leaves us or forsakes us if we believe in Him.
I'm not unfeeling at all.  I know there are people who've endured much, or lost their lives at the hands of enemies and tyrants and many other ways.  And it's tempting to think He's forsaken us, even tempting to accuse Him of forsaking us, even tempting to disavow belief in Him.
But then I think of Jesus, the Savior.  And I'm once again humbled at what He endured for me, for you, for anyone and everyone who's willing to Love Him....

But "the gays", as you so eloquently put it, (many of them anyway) aren't willing to take up their Cross and follow Him.
The Lord requires certain things from us,  and living a gay lifestyle isn't something He put on anyone's agenda;  turning from things like that..IS.

That's the problem with Atheists and Christians.  You take words from the Bible to comfirm what you want to think in the first place.  You just happen to run in two different directions with it. If you read the Bible with common sense instead of an agenda; you will understand it.

I have to admit that I am not a survivor of these harsh camps, but I do have friends that survived through the camps and they said that the camps were very harsh. However, my friend also said that even during that entire time period he never felt any abandonment and felt drawn even closer to God than he had ever been before. I know that might not be the proof that your looking for, but that is proof enough for me seeing his faith that carried him through the camps.

God does exist and this argument will continue until the end of time, but eventually you will see that God does exist and he loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son to share that love with us.

I am sorry to hear that your grandad died, but at the same time he also died for you so that you can espouse your point of view as well. Just something that you might want to consider that if he hadn't made that sacrifice you might not have a choice on if you want to believe or not.

However, since I live in America which I am not sure if you live in the US or not we have the freedom of religion so I can choose to believe in God which I do. I also believe that Jesus is his only begotten son. At the same time you are allowed to believe that you do not think that God exist. I just know that I love God and love his son and being able to believe in them without the worry of being persecuted or killed because of this belief in God.
