Men's Daily Devotions

   The bible says:  “Jesus told his disciples  . . . that they should always pray and not give up” Luke 18:1
   
   
   
   Men – we have available to us the most powerful source of power on this earth – prayer!
   
   
   
   Men that pray have greater authority and power than any army, nation, ideology or earthly kingdom.
   
   
   
   Men that pray can change circumstances, move mountains, pull-down strongholds, and impart healing. 
   
   
   
   Men – we need to PUSH!
   
   Quite often we pray a times of desperation, or after an inspiring sermon.  But then we don’t see the results or we get distracted and we lose heart and stop praying.  Men we need to pray until something happens, changes, moves, etc . . .
   
   
   
   Don’t Give Up
   
   No – listen, God is looking today for men that will stand and not be ashamed to pray bold prayers.  God is looking for men to pray prayers that have never been prayed before!  And!  God is looking for men to continue in prayer and not give up. 
   
   
   
   Today – determine to set aside a time of prayer and let God fill you with a boldness, strength and assurance that as we pray He’ll act and we’ll see – Something Happen!
   
   
   
   Today’s prayer:  “Lord, forgive me today if I’ve gotten discouraged in my prayer life.  Today, I commit to be a man of prayer and to give myself to believing that You will be faithful to me as I pray.  Today, I commit myself to PUSH!  And I determine today, by your grace to not give up! – in Jesus ‘ name!”
   
   
   
   
   
   Everyman – One Man  - Tip for the Day
   
   Who are you praying to receive Christ today?  Yes, who are the one, two or three individuals that you are praying for to see a difference?  Lift their name to the Lord today and PUSH!

   Just curious though...When did you hear from a god?
   
   And, did you know it's a sign of the onset of a medical disease. It's called "delusional thinking".
   
   If you actually heard a message inside your head and it wasn't your conscience speaking to you, then I suggest you seek help.

   So what was this thread about in the first place? many of these threads always lose the original question or purpose because there is always the "I'm right, you're wrong" senseless debates, I don't personally believe in a deity to pray to but whatever happened to "live and let live" now it's changed to "live and you should live the way I live because i'm right"
