Is it God?
Is it a Creator?
Is it a Creator that is a God
Is it some other force, other than a Creator or a God?
A creator doesn't have to be a God
----- A creator could just create and not care to be the God of the creation. It is possible that the creator might just be running an experiment and merely wants to monitor the creation. Much like science experiments, you don't want to affect the experiment.
A God doesn't have to be a creator.
----- Creation could have happened from other sources, yet a God might want to take credit for it, and have those created to page homage. If no one else takes credit for creation then there will always be someone or something that will take credit for the works of others. I happens everyday in real life.
Sometimes stuff just happens.
------ like peanuts falling into a container of hot chocolate.
Opinion:
unless you can define this "god" thing "literally (true, actual), your question can't even be considered, except in the form of an abstract concept.
If you understand this, I am dumbfounded as to why you would ask this question as it refers to whatever this undefinable "god thing" may be.
Qwark
It encompasses all possibilities of our existence.
Thanks
When we talk about God we talk a bout a creator.
When we talk about a creator we talk God
We cant have one without the other.
To answer your question, we are the result of evolution; whether that involves God as the initial creator of life is another question
God is the creator of all things, from the tiniest molecules to the distant stars. Life on earth and elsewhere. If man evolved from the ape it was all Gods plan.
God bless those who wish for blessing.
Then he also created the bad and the very bad.
And the bad outweighs the good in this world.
God would then be responsible for creating all of the sick people in the world, and all of the sadness in th world.
There is much good in this world! The bad only far outweighs the good if thats all you are looking at! I see it differently there is more good than there is bad. But then thats just me.
Unfortunately it is not subjective, it is objective and it can be counted.
I am not sure what you mean by subjective? Are you saying that there is more bad then good?
Very true, the sick, the sorrowed: and though we may not see the whole picture, or understand the reasoning, I assure you there is a design. There is duality in the world, yin-;yang, good-bad he created all these. If they suffer in this world they may find solace in the next.
Blessings to those who pray for blessing
Srwnson:
Would you pls provide proof of this "very true" you just mentioned?
You "assure" us of there being a design. How can ya do this?
"He created all these." Who is this "he?" No opinion pls.
"If they suffer in this world they may find solace in the next."
In the next what?
Pls enlighten us to that level of knowledge you seem to have gained with "facts" that would convince me that you know what you are talking about.
I doubt you can do this. Surprise me.
Qwark
I cannot provide the proof you desire sir. I only assure those who have faith. I'm only a truck driver and not well edjucated. I suppose you will dismiss my comment because of this but that's okay. I won't try to convince you of God's love for you if you've rejected the possibility of his existance beyond a shadow of a doubt. I don't give myself enough credit to convince a set mind. Good day and Merry Christmas.
God Bless those who pray for blessing.
Good answer Mr. Srwnson...Mr. Qwark do you settle for an honest answer or are you upset Mr. Srwnson didn't bring a soapbox so you guys can rag on him.
An ordinary man like you and me also have the right to live; it is not that only most educated and/or the most intelligent only have the right to live here. If they are intelligent they should present the things in a simple and natural way.
Srwnson:
What do ya mean "only a truck driver?"
This nation depends upon you guys!
Thanks for being one!
The "on the road" protection you speak of has nothing to do with mythical god/s. That protection is created by your talent and ability as a truck driver. You guys deserve alot of respect!
May I suggest, respectfully, that when ya comment, leave out the "I assure you," "beyond a shadow of a doubt," stuff, because all you are offering are your opinions. Your opinions may be "real" for you but just silly religious ranting to others.
Breaker 19. breaker 19...I hope ya keep the rubber side down on the road!
Qwark :
You are betting on the come, and that is very odd.
We are but mere peanuts in chocolate!
The final thought of the op.
That would encourage cannibalism.
Haha, for who though? Who is going to eat us if we are peanuts in the chocolate lol? The universe might be hungry and swallow us up...scary thought now.
i agree with Petra, and also would say that the creative intelligence of the universe created evolution. we are a result of that, and how then could it not be of the divine? where is
The universe is useless, the Earth and our Solar System are built to complex for any design to be involved.
The flaw in the world are visisble and numerous.
If it was created it was created by an amateur.
If this was a product, it would fail quality control.
Technology here has improved but people haven't and nature is kiiling us.
At any time, and Asteroid or other piece of space junk could destroy us.
First, Well said, Petra.
Second, less the "g/God" term --as it is generic, like pharma products. Viagra is a brand name like "Shiva or Elohim or Lucifer or Zeus", else "god" is used to imply the brand name.
Are we the result of an evolving universe? Yes. But I do not think it is evolution as we humans ascribe. Even with those limited words of "ever increasing", "expansion", "collapse", "time", "ages", we are still none the wiser, in our minds, of it all.
Which leads one to need. Need to know, need to understand, to title this thing and hope some day it appears to us and we "see the light". This odd contradiction is used by scientists and sensationalists equally.
Duck,
Nature is not killing humans, humans are killing themselves with their "advancements" in technology (ranging from mechanics to yoga enlightenment). I did a paper on this recently.
It states that the human emission of vibrations --in words-- has accounted for the changes in the environment for the last x000 years. It has uber-increased over the last 190 years and over-the-top increased in the last two decades. Changes that are causing natures vibrations and light frequencies to bend, be altered (earthquakes, tsunamis, strange weather, animal behavior changes, growth changes for simple grasses, etc) in addition to global drilling of oceans and fields alike for fuels, leaving empty spaces in the earths crust. Those natural shock absorbers called crude oil pockets, are slowly collapsing and causing plate shifts all over the world.
The emission of the human collective (7 billion + tele/tivo + wireless + com) is nearly equal to the force of a magnitude 20 earthquake --daily!. These vibrations are in the air, bouncing off the water, mountains, etc.) Multiply that by a year and then a single generation. Then add the mechanical vibrations.
It is likely, the volume of human noise will increase by 500% over the next 50 years, with an increase of 3% population or frighteningly nearly 850% with a 3% decrease in population. That has more power than a nuke the size of New Jersey. The difference with the weapons or a meteor --that strike and destroy instantly-- human vibrations are like radiation, killing them slowly almost effortlessly, painlessly...
I don't see how you can filter out organism noise which includes everything not human.
The roach and the ant have survived intact for tens of millions of years, their design was far better than ours, all they needed was a bigger brain.
The planets "natural" vibration can never be fully studied, since we have already broken the hourglass with our infiltration.
And yes, the planet did just fine until man decided to corrupt himself and then infect his home with that disease.
I'm with aka-dj, humans need some good vibrations.
Positive energy, versus the constant electro-static (negative) energy.
Maybe, just maybe then, they'll get a glimpse at the true purpose of humans in this universe. Because if humans actually stopped to listen, there is much to hear from the Singing Sands of Egypt and the vibrations bouncing off Pluto, millions of light years away.
What is a human to this universe? A grain of sand is millions of times bigger in the scale of things. Yet, he has more power than a quasar cluster.
Unfortunately, like the ant and the roach man hasn't changed at all, but man is not going to survive like the ant and the roach.
Remember what survives Atomic Bombs, not man.
There is nothing that can be done for man, there is no desire to change.
Thanks
Whatever happened to the "Good Vibrations" the Beach Boys sang about?
I get dizzy in forums.
The question that I asked was simple,
pick on of the three choices.
If you think there is another choice then tell us.
Thanks:)
What if it's one and many not just one?
The Creator-God has created us human beings; and He provides us.

Everything in this entire world was created by something. No matter what belief you hold it seems the world is created. For those of you who believe in the big bang or the theological god said let there be light. Creating stars and planets, moons and galaxies. Over billions of years the process...

A few weeks ago I asked what I thought was quite a serious, searching question about the existence of God, and was rather disappointed when it got a very limited response.
