Who should be the highest ranked defensive player in the 2012 #NFLTop100?
My vote goes to . ..
Darrelle Revis #24 New York Jets
You are not aloud to discuss football until hockey season ends
lol . .. its almost done.. ..
Go Devils . ..
What does hockey have to do with a discussion of sports?
Your bias is showing.
So, I guess I'll let mine show too.
I'll have to go with Demarcus Ware
Two against one's not fair. All right, let's get this straight...
Ok so Dohn wants to get to the real question .. who will number one on this list
I know Eli won the Superbowl but Aaron Rodgers had one hell of a season!
Cant disagree with you on the belt man himself
but this post is really about defensive players. . .
Hey Wavegirl, I guess some didn't bother to read the OP.
Hey its football and anyone that wants to talk pigskin .. its all good!
Actually, as you've said- it's about defense. Not general football.
Im not a stickler bottom line is that football Cags is football although you try to fight it. . you love it . .
Yes, I love my Cowboys regardless of how they do.
Romos career is on the line this season. . either he is gonna bring Tiffany back to Dallas or he is gonna be packing his bags to go back home to San Diego.
I don't know why that would be, but I'm sure plenty of people have their opinion about it.
I'm not sure what this has to do with Football?
you are not sure what "Either he is gonna bring Tiffany back to Dallas or he is gonna be packing his bags to go back home to San Diego" has to do with football? What part do you not understand?
Jared Allen nearly broke Michael Strahan's sack record. If he continues to perform at this high of a level for two or three more seasons, he'll be a first ballot hall of famer.
+1
but Dohn time to give Darrelle a little love here. .. I know its hard for you to embrace the Jets but you gotta give credit where its due..no?
Yes, yes, yes...Kudos to you for addressing this The guy takes away half of the field whenever he's on the field. Offenses show him respect game in and game out by not throwing to his half of the field. He's so good that he can just suit up and play each down in a jog and watch from afar as the opposing offenses stay the heck away from him.
and he aint coming to Nu Yawk in 2014 either cause he gunna be in san diego .. home on the range!
Harrison - Steelers, then Suggs (even though he is not on the other side)
Von Miller - Broncos
Patrick Willis - Going to take them to the SB this year!
Looks like Sunday Night Football on NBC agrees with you as they announced that Patrick Willis of the San Francisco 49ers will also be a part of the SNF Open this season!
Ed Reed. Baltimore Ravens
Best safety that ever played. Still plays at a high level.
Tonite the top 10 players on the NFL Network willl be revealed so who will be number 1?
Darrelle has yet to be announced. . Im thinking for sure he will be in the top 5. Well at least I am hoping he will be.
Watch out for Eric Berry. A break out year for him and possibly in the top 8 before the season is done.
the Fifth Dimension .. Ill be watching out for him .. Kansas City should be a contender this year. . but watch out for my Jets .. and Darrelle came in at Number 5!

How do you feel about the new NFL ruling requiring players on the field to stand during the playing of the national anthem. This ruling was not brought about by any government influence. It occurred because of economic pressure placed on the NFL by the fans of the NFL. These are...

I have been trying to analyse this topsy-turvy season in an attempt to establish whether teams have generally improved or if the top teams in particular are weaker. Certainly, financial constraints have limited the ability of most clubs to tempt others to sell their very best players and also...
