What's this about? Are you implying I'm dirty? Or that I stink?!
This is an outrage!
A long drawn out bath where I can meditate.
Showers. I like the feel of the water hitting my body. In baths, you're sitting in your own dirt and the water starts to turn cold. Though baths can be relaxing, especially if it's at a spa and they make it really luxurious.
I prefer a shower when i'm in a hurry, or after playing football.
I have a bath when i've got lotts of time to chill out!
I shower first then I bath, I love bath because then I can sing
I haven't had a bath for years and years -- but only because I haven't got a bath tub.
If I did, I'd have a bath before going to bed.
Showers are great for waking up. Apparently, running water produces negative ions that energize and help towards a positive outlook for the day.
I notice that most of my best ideas occur in the shower.
Showers - I've got two toddlers, so it's the quickest way to get in, get clean, and get out.
Every other day it's a bath. For the days in between it's both. I start off with a bath, then stand and wash my hair under the shower. They both have their advantages.
Showers. Being 6'8" tall, I don't fit in many bath tubs
I agree with rod and cleanclover. Multi person showers are fantastic, save water! But meditating and doing a few yoga stretches in the bath is very soothing and wonderful, especially if you get a few candles lit around the room and a good cup of tea.
Shower all the way. I love the way the water feels on my body. It's awesome...I think it's because I lurve the rain
Baths are great but for relaxing, in the dark with lit scented candles and fave tunes other than that SHOWER baby!
I take a bath to get clean and than I stand up and rinse with the shower.
Gee Deborah I was just going to say that!
I get a nice hot bath going, get a shampooed and soapy, rince in the bath water, and then shower to make sure no soap is left behind. I like to get really sudsy, until I'm all foamy. I also shave in the bath, rinse and repeat.
But, sometimes I indulge in a nice bubble bath. So, sometimes when I am in a place where only a shower is available, I don't know what to do with myself. I want to stretch out and relax, kind of hard to do in a public shower. The guys will wonder why I'm laying on the floor! I'm just kidding about that of course.
Definitely baths. Hahah, it is like I'm sitting in my own filth though, but I just love lying down and letting the hot water run on my feet.
I need to get out of the habit. It wastes water more than my less than 10 minute showers, hehe.
I like both.Showers for cleaning, baths for relaxing!
Showers for fun guys.
I prefer showers, but baths do have some advantages (such as relaxation and release of toxins).
My first choice is always a nice, warm foamy bath, but showers are good also, especially if no tub is available
No, bathers are weird. They get in a tub of water, wash the dirt off which then floats around the water. As they stand up surface tension deposits the dirt back onto them, whereupon they still need a shower!
Strange people...
lol... thank you for saying what I was too embarrassed to say. Baths have always seemed weird to me for that very reason.
?? That strange people choose to wipe mud onto clean towels in a forlorn hope of getting it off of them doesn't embarrass me. I just find it odd, that's all.
No, Wildman - you shower first, then you relax in a nice, deep tub of hot water. Even better if the tub is large enough for two!
Now *that I would do... although I dont really have time for a bath *and a shower... This conversation makes public swimming pools seem harder to stomach.
Well...Most people shower the dirt off before getting into a pool. I hope, anyway.
But I take baths - about once a year. A constant small stream of hot water, a good book and a good shower afterwards.
True. That works too, and just like a hot tub. Especially with company. And outdoors under the stars, maybe with gently falling giant snowflakes and a drink on the lip of the tub.
Or a natural hot springs - we've got lots of those around me. Temperatures from near freezing to near boiling depending on where you sit.
Every hub I go on, ppl are talking seductively... Im gonna have to take a cold shower after all this.
That's just habee. She's from Georgia - you have to give a little leeway to those folks.
I like showers because baths take too long. Plus it reminds me of the rain, which is relaxing!
Showers if I need to be in and out in a hurry. Baths if im feeling sore or really tired. But I always take a shower after my bath.

Do you prefer a bath or a shower? Why?

I love baths. Some people think baths are not as efficient as showers or they think of a bath as a water waster .I just published a hub about this issue. I would love to hear why you are on Team Bath or Team Shower.

Do you prefer taking a bath or a shower?I was just wondering if there is a major difference in what happens to the human body when taking a bath compared to a shower other than the obvious?

Should the U.S. Military allow men and woman to take showers together? It only makes sense now that Gay's and Lesbians can be open about there sexuality. Why not just create one facility for everyone to just have one big shower party. I wouldn't mind taking a shower with Jessica Alba or...
