I've used a lot of browsers; currently my favorite is Chrome. It's rather user friendly and quite stable.

It's a breeze on Ubuntu, too. Google funds Mozilla and without their help Firefox would have a lot less resources.

However, my favorite of all time would be Opera. Why didn't it make this list?

At any rate, IE hasn't really been on my radar for years and while I've played with Safari even when I had my Mac I generally stuck with Opera.

I focus mostly on Firefox since that is what I'm used to using.  It works pretty well for me and I'm comfortable with it.

I've tried Chrome, Safari and Opera and they're all pretty nice, but Firefox is like an old pair of shoes for me.  I'd rather spend my time working and reading instead of learning the quirks and features of a new browser.

I use them all from time to time (including the dreaded IE which has improved in the most recent release) to test my web sites, but FF is my main browser.

Fire fox, of course! Get the "noscript" plugin and you have the safest browser around. The noscript plugin stops any scripts from downloading crap to your computer. smile

I changed to Firefox just a few months ago from IE7, and I think its just great. I haven't used the others so I couldn't comment on them.

Firefox for me.  I tried Safari and Opera, but found too many sites weren't optimized for them.

    IE is too vulnerable.

Started with Netscape waaay back when, forced to switch to IE, but found it a really unstable platform. Discovered Gozilla and loved it, and use Firefox alla time. Stable, efficient, fast. Also used Safari on the IMac, and like it better than IE as well.

    Firefox! big_smile

Firefox is the only browser I've been able to use every single day for over a year consistently and never have a single problem.

    Not one. Ever.
