Canada was placed in 10th place for happiest country in the world.
I think that's over rated yet better here than living in the USA

My American friends tell me, happiness is not everything

Canadians in general are happy people, as they enjoy the great outdoors (and they have plenty of wilderness to explore), they are peace loving and easy going people. Best of all, Canadians are proud of the provinces they live in and no matter how bad the weather gets, they always think that they have the best. I guess, Canadians concentrate on the good things in life and don't let the bad things get them down.

Yes, we are generally happy, polite and easy-going. Although I find this is less so in the big cities like Toronto. Too fast-paced and stressful, I guess. We also tend to just let things be..more tolerant, and not get all hot and bothered about stuff. This is partly why we have such a good sense of humour (or is that humor?).

    4 cheers for Canada!!

Canada won the Bowl Final this weekend in the Wellington (NZ) 7s rugby tournament!!
They are an excellent 7s team and Kiwis (the 7s World Champs) always support Canada in this sport, merely because they are like us in how we view life and sports...
So for all you Canadians who don't know what your team achieved check out 'IRB Sevens' and you will see what great ambassadors you have in a sport that is hardly known in your country!  smile

Canada is the second largest country by land area, but it has only about thirty million populations. So, it has only 10 provinces and territories. I visited 8. See my hub: Beautiful Canada @

Good information. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if someday it could have as many people as the Americas.
