Thanks John for bringing attention to this amazing park.  Yes, that fish cleaning station is a beauty!  What a perk for fishers to be able to gut and clean their fish on site.

    Hi Chitrangada,

So glad you enjoyed learning about this large park that is still under development.  In a few years to come, it will be surrounded by subdivisions.  It is always nice when lands are set aside to remain open and available for public enjoyment.

I always enjoy learning about the parks in your area, Peggy. This one sounds like a lovely place to observe nature. I think I would enjoy observing the birds most of all.

Thank you for sharing the article, John.

Thank you for sharing this article, John. Peggy has once again done an excellent job in describing this park and its facilities. I was particularly interested to see how it came about as a trade off with local builders. Lovely too to commemorate a former pope.

    Hi Pamela,

I agree that the playgrounds are lovely.  Each one is a bit different and they are widely spaced throughout the park.  The lake will eventually be much larger.  So glad you enjoyed reading about it.

    Hi Rosina,

Yes, this park is sure to draw more attention as the people living nearby discover it.  The park has been a long time in its creation, and there is still more to be developed.  Thanks for reading about it and leaving your comment.

    Hi Linda,

I agree with you that bird watching would be a pleasurable activity in this park.  When migrating birds are passing this area, it would be particularly fun to head out to this park during those times of the year.  Thanks for your interest and comment.
