I just saw sudden spike in views on a hub and checked Stats to see from where. I followed the link to webpronews and followed their link to my video I made for YouTube and he even linked\d to my HubPages article.

The video was made for fun and as a joke. My first attempt, which does need work!!! lol

I hope I can show the link here Since it is not my site!

lol, I wish I owned the software. It is software available on YouTube I used.
Videos can be a good marketing strategy for hubs.

I'm gonna try that - maybe with my slang hubs a video would do well. thanks for the idea Michael!

You are welcome! I plan on using this as well, especially for humor and especially any political hubs.

Hi Michael, that's excellent fun and very interesting.  I didn't know such a thing existed.  Damn, something else to take up precious time with.

Good luck to you with this.

Thanks Ray!  I really didn't think anyone would look at the video. The Person from webpronews then linked to my article on Hubpages as well about the Google Panda. lol A nice surprise.

Congrats, Michael - that's really neat.

Now if your hub just had a couple dozen links to works by "The Great Wilderness" it would be even better! lol

Hope you get more of these kind of things - they're great for moral (and traffic and income).  And when you report them, for the whole HP.

I used the Free version/beginner (lol) which is very limited in what you can do with the animation.
I do plan on investing to the full version so I can unleash a more creative side. I could see a new niche coming to be!

Michael, I was using Yahoo tonight as my se and your article came up number one, so I followed the link...great article by the way!  That's proof that Google's getting outclassed as a search engine!

Wow, noticed another site has picked the animation story up. It is webmasters.ru. Seems that my cartoon and the other one that was posted to youtube back in March by another person have been discovered and creating a buzz!

Sweet dude congrats! I was actually messing around with that GoAnimate thing yesterday. First time I'd ever seen it. I like it, but it seemed like a lot of trouble and I think they wanted me to pay money. It wouldn't just let me do what I wanted.

I used the free trial version I guess you would call it. I have experience with Powerpoint animation (kinda), so I found it similar in a way.
To use more than 4 animated characters and add your own images, you would have to upgrade.
I will be checking out what more I can do. It really is giving my hub a boost.

Hub views hopefully will increase since I finally figured out why the link in the video description was not working.
When you paste your Hub url in, you have to make sure the "www" is added or it will not be a live link.
