Oh I can relate. My cat like always was struggling to get my full attention late one night as I was searching the amazon site for a free kindle ebook. He likes to sit on my laptop keyboard to get in between me and the screen and by doing so I purchased a book I did not want for $9.99. I had to call amazon to return the unwanted ebook and a refund.

I wish I Had a cat. It gets so lonely here at home with only my PC and writing hubs. I am disabled. Cannot drive. I am human.

I'm in the same boat with a three-year old and an eleven month old, plus my niece who's eighteen months old... wink

Mine are two and four.  At least the cat doesn't get smooshed banana on the keyboard.

I have this problem, and it's compounded by the two dogs laying on top of my feet.

My dog always pulls one of my slippers off, or if I'm wearing tights with no shoes finds a bit near the toes that she can pull. I always end up with one leg of my tights stretched to around 6ft long.

God, that's just too funny...the artwork is hilarious, although true. Guess that's why I lock my cat out of the room when I write....big_smile

This is so funny! It happens to me sometimes, but a bigger problem is my dog trying to get my attention by putting his head on my lap or patting me with his paw as he asks for a ball game.

Haha, too true, though in my case it's a four year old, not a cat.

When I was a homeschooled teenager, however, we used to call one of the family cats "the math professor" because he would invariably come and lie down on our textbooks as we were trying to do math. lol

Love it! I don't have a problem working on the computer but when I lie on the sofa to read a book, one of our cats always jumps up on me and lies on my chest, completely preventing me from reading.

Mary I included this at the end of my slides for a lecture presentation, and told my students that was Hootie preparing their quiz.  When it's a hard quiz, one of my students proclaims "Hootie did NOT write that quiz. Hootie would not do that to us!"

AEvans, Hootie is a Boykin Spaniel.  They are bred as bird dogs in the SE US, and have a marvelous temperment like Cockers, but they only come in the chocolate/liver color.

You have to link back to the original artist's website: all his cartoons are fantastic!
