Gone are the days of holding open the door for your next door ?
With the absence of the father figure in the home,
Many have abandoned love in exchange for lust ?
Now a days there isn't a role model that people look up to anymore ?
I'll probably get a lot of heat for this but it's about someone took the time to stand up and say enough is enough !
They are desensitized by becoming to Hollywood lax,
There is a real devil out there that would like to rip his fangs into everyone that he can !
Yet it's different for me this time cause I have a plan.
( Love has been exchanged for lust long enough ! ) In our world in quite a rush ! These are real desolate times and are nation has settled for the bare minimum of ill faded rhymes,
From a cause that's atrocious wake up and smell the coffee !
    * Since the 1960's with the women burning their bras along with men and their draft cards also,
Then the women's liberation movement explosion people have been living a counter culture lie !

Excuse me? Are you saying women's liberation caused our decaying morals?  That's so absurd I can't even respond to it!

I agree with some of this.
The women's lib movement did play a part in the decline of morality.
Before that, though, or at least during it, men (fathers, husbands) neglected their own duties in many ways too, or abused their status.
It's rather like the Adam and Eve sinning issue......both genders are responsible for how society progresses or degresses.

America has bigger problems than the supposed culture lie, you believe is happening or happened.

    So please.....

sorry don't agree what problem is bigger than the next?  We can rationalize everything with one sentence.

I thank the OP as what you state are issues that at its core start with the outcome of ones future and like Cagsil states, lead to bigger problems.

To the OP =keep the hope, it always starts with one, now there's two.

ps=sorry cag's but com'om, I'm not asking you to be sensitive just open to the fact the bigger problems you speak of, start somewhere, and no, not with me, ps-poke

Love is brewed coffee. Lust is instant coffee. Some like theirs brewed, others prefer instant. The reason  I'm using coffee as an example is because I'm having one right now.I love brewed coffee and if I cannot have it right away then the feeling of lust for coffee becomes strong.and the need for instant gratification makes me grab the bottle of instant coffee;wink winkwink

      Do you play the clarinet?

I once played the harmonica. Although it would be awkward while having coffee. A cigarette I think would be better. wink

Silent Reed? I thought of a woodwind instrument not playing music, for whatever reason. Sorry... I just thought...
      I'm here thinking music...
      You're there thinking coffee...

Now coffee, cigarette and music....perhaps Jazz or something nice and easy ? That would make a perfect trois menagerie smile

I tend to match the music to my moods. Right now I'm listening to Michael Bolton singing opera arias. I also like country. Lyle lovett is good.

Silent Reed... You need to hear the great tenors singing Opera. But Michael Bolton?! Are you serious?! I can understand you like his love songs. I personally don't like him a bit, but that's me. But c'mon! Opera?! That's like listening to Pavarotti sing Megadeath! I suggest if you really like those arias that Bolton is singing, try to find the same arias sung by Pavarotti or by Placido Domingo. You'll hear the difference!

I don't think that's entirely true.  I think women needed to take some kind of a stand to be taken seriously down through the ages....I'm sure in the cave, one nice lady picked up a club and hit the '
'big Ape Man" over the head in return....while she was cooking the day's catch!

...women's lib has nothing to do with people being people....my circle is wider....not as skewed as the OP....look around...further...not everyone has exchanged love for lust...or have forgotten to be respectful, etc.

and if women rely on their own mind about things...that's okay...isn't it?
