Hey, guess what folks. I just reached a hundred dollars finally on my google adsense. I'm so happy, as I thought I was going to have to wait for like another few months or so, but it seems my hubs starting to make a bit more money these days.  hooray!  sorry, if it seems like i'm bragging or anything, i'm just so excited that I wanted to share it with you guys.  I just hope my next pay out won't take this long.

Anyway, I just wanted to take time out also to thank all my followers and readers for supporting me, as I know I couldn't have done it without your help.  thank you all so much.  smile

Really??? Now I spends my time just reading and commenting in the forum, I think I should get reference for first before try to write more hubs, I'm just curious about participated in forums will increase our traffic.

For one, it allows you to get know a lot of the hubbers here, as well as garner more followers, as people tend to follow others if they like your work, as it makes more hubbers aware of who you are.  I remember when I first got on here for my first four or five months, i barely had like 20 or so followers.  lol.  it wasn't until i participated in forums more that people started to know who i was.   Plus, it's a great way to learn what others have done to be successful on this site. Even if your not talking to the hubbers directly, you can always read through the forums whenever someone asks a question about how to get more traffic and such, and you can learn from those.  i can't say i've read through all of them, but the ones that i have, were very helpful.  anyways, i hope that answers your question.  thanks for stopping by. smile

Stevennix2001posted 13 years agoin reply to this

for me, it took like 15 months to get to my first pay out.  however, it varies from person to person though.  the best advice i can tell you is that it helps to submit your hubs to various bookmarking and rss feed sites like twitterfeed, shetoldme, redgage and others, as those really helped generate a lot of traffic.

It need 15 months to get first pay out... I thinks it is very hard and difficult. Is there any person who get pay out before 1 years hubs?

    1. profile image0
Stevennix2001posted 13 years agoin reply to this

As I just told one person on here, it varies from person to person.  I think the reason why it took me so long is that majority of my hubs that i have on here were transferred from yahoo, as i used to write film reviews a lot as a kid.  Plus, when i came onto this site, it was like years since i actually written anything, so i was still fairly new at writing critical reviews.  Plus, as one person said once, that film reviews are hard to establish since most films only get clicks during their initial release in theaters or on dvd, so they don't last too long.  that's why i've been trying to develop my writing style to incorporate other topics besides movies as well.  factor in being busy with school and work, it doesn't exactly help when your trying to make time to write hubs AND figure out how to make money on hubpages.

However, there have been other users like edweirdo and cagsil, who for some reason got they're payouts way less than half a year being on this site.  Therefore, it varies from person to person that's all.

    2. oderog profile image47
oderogposted 13 years agoin reply to this

no quick fix, nikmaya62. It took me 18 months to get my first payout, spending much time in forum without writing useful and informative hubs won't help much, main core activity is writing informative hubs.
