    Hey Hubbers,

It looks like HP Staff has done what some wanted.

They put the totals at the top and bottom of the statistics page.

It is great. The more hubs you have, the better this new feature is.

It'll take a little getting use to. But, it's okay.

I like not having to scroll down the entire page to see the totals.  At first I thought it was a glitch!

I hope they do the same to Feedback.

I never even really look at feedback, honestly.  Maybe a handful of times... that's just me though.

    I love it!

Now if they could just do something about the wanderlust of the slide show views - those darn things come and go more often than a teenager does!

LOL, I am always hoping the slideshow views won't return, but they always seem to anyway. At time of posting this they are gone again, and good riddance!

Oh, don't say that!  I keep an eye on those, thinking that they are a low value indication that the reader is interested in what I've presented.

LOL, I would rather they were reading my work than avoiding doing so by simply watching the slideshow wink

wildernessposted 12 years agoin reply to this

Oh no!  I don't care what they should be doing, as long as they are on my hub, clicking away. smile

I've got some "how to" hubs, directions for doing this or that, that have more slide show views of details than hub views.  Not sure how that happens, or why, but don't care either - analytics shows about half as many clicks from slide shows as it does from hubs.  On a percentage basis, the slide shows probably do better than the hubs themselves.

Yes, some hubs are all about the pics, but I mostly put them in to enhance the information of the hub.  Not just to break up the hub, and not because the hub is about the pictures, but because "a picture is worth a thousand words" - sometimes it really is.

Yep. I noticed it too. I love it. It was always a nuisance scrolling down to see the totals, which is the first thing I look for on that page anyway.

As long as they're in the mood for change, why not move the "Comments" column all the way to the right.  I think everyone is more interested in the daily figures, which change more frequently, than the number of comments.

I love the stat totals being at the top and bottom!  I hated scrolling down.

I'm also pleased with the change. I only have a few hubs and even then I thought having the stats at the top would be easier. I can only imagine how it must've been for those with hundreds of hubs - all that scrolling! :yikes: big_smile
