    I love the word Angel---My Grandmother Knight called me her Angel. I suppose that is why I call the ones I love---my nephews and nieces Angels.

        Funny somehow I got this on this thread rather than the question thread.  Hah.  But, to play by the rules now that I see my mistake, I would say my favorite word may be onomatopoeia (Oh-no-ma-I-gotta-Peeah, tinkle, tinkle according to a high school teacher that I had). But for similar reasons, knife is also interesting as the K in knife is silent like the Q in qfish.
