There is no doubt I will keep on hubbing.  I'm really not sure why I hadn't done it sooner.

Giant congrats Dale it sounds awesome. Lots of people talk money here. And we all love to read about it. So I'd say write whatever your comfortable with. It's always great to hear about successes. So go for it.

Should I just say my *best day of the month* was $35.81 (of which 60% of it came from hubs).

    Glad you've made it, Dale.

Ok here goes.  You do need to realize that my partner and I work our butts off.

We dont fall into the category of gurus and never want to.

About a year ago we started with making zero.

After a short but hard worked year we have slowly climbed the ladder.

I remember our first 50 dollar day, 100 dollar day, 200 dollar day and so on but today we topped out at

    $482.02

I love earning online and my reality of being able to do it full time in 3 more years is getting closer.

Thanks for listening and understanding my excitement

    Cheers!!!!!

Bloody hell -what's your income goal - or do you have expenses out of that ....

I just had my best ever Adsense day - and its not quite over yet, but only 10% of your figure - well done!

      1. Dale Mazurek profile image60
Dale Mazurekposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Our expenses until now have only been about 150 a month.  Autoresponder, hosting, domain names and so forth.

Just this month though we have hired a person to help us.  Will be done on the honor system and we are paying her ten bucks an hour for now.  This will free up some much needed time we need to get a start on some other projects.

What makes us so proud is this is done with our hard work.  We have done no JVs, nothing like that and on one of our niches we hit the 5000 mark on our list last week.

        Hard work does pay off.

Oh no not just from HP, in fact a very small amount from HP.  I guess in total it comes from about 4 avenues and the cool thing is we have barely even explored Clickbank yet

Dale Mazurekposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Very little is from HubPages and none was from ClickBank.  My partner and I have barely even touched on ClickBank yet.  The money is from a few affiliate niches we work very hard on.  Its all about thinking outside the box and never giving up.  Oh ya we don't use adwords either.

We made a lot of mistakes but we never gave up.  I will write a hub one of these days giving a short form of how things have worked for us and don't worry it won't be full of links.  In fact probably only one link.

Fantastic day, be sure to take time to really appreciate how much you've accomplished in such a short time frame. Then back to working your butts off.

Yeah JV's are loved by the A-listers but I don't think anyone else makes actual money from them.

I have started outsourcing some of my stuff too - and probably need a VA for my tax. I was just intrigued because if you can consistently profit say $400/day - thats $2800/week and I wouldn't be waiting for more than a week before I went full-time with that income not 3 years LOL

    1. Dale Mazurek profile image60
Dale Mazurekposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Remember I said I have a partner so this is split down the middle.  My goal is within 3 years but if I can do it sooner then I will for sure.

The thing with working in the oilpatch I have developed to higher likes so I really have quite a large income that needs to be replaced.  We have talked about going the other way though.  Keep working my job for 3 years yet and sock everything into paying off our mortgage and a healthy retirement if things continue to go well

      1. Marisa Wright profile image84
Marisa Wrightposted 14 years agoin reply to this

That's about where I'm at. A couple of years ago I was feeling pretty burnt out and thought I would try my hand at creating a passive income online, with an eye to early retirement.

It didn't take me long to realise it would take 2 or 3 years of working my butt off for nothing, to have any hope of building an income stream I'd be prepared to live on.  It made a lot more sense to go back to my (well-paying) real job for 2 years instead - not such hard work and money in the bank!  Time enough to think about serious online ventures when I'm really retired, I think.

That is a really good level of income!  I am nowhere near hitting that amount but am starting to see my income levels increase.  Apart from the random couple of days when I earned over $40 I am happy to get over a dollar most days, although I can easily see that there are opportunities to be made.  The problem I have though is many of my topics are on British based locations/events etc and whilst Hubpages ranks high in Google.com it doesn't rank quite as high in Google.co.uk and so my income is somewhat limited by this.  However, I hope to increase my income anyway, by writing hubs which will have more of a global appeal.

A very famous marketer told us we need to think rich.  We need to do whatever it takes.  I won't mention his name simply because he did give us great advice but after a while he starts sending emails like crazy, like 3 a day sometimes.

Anyways thats what we do, we think rich, work hard and I mean hard and now we are being rewarded.

Thanks for all the great comments.  I cant wait to post my next biggest day.

Thanks for the info. Dale and well done ! Do you know why you had such a good day ? Are some of your sites sitting on top of Google page 1 or Yahoo page 1 ?

    1. Dale Mazurek profile image60
Dale Mazurekposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Oh yes, many of our pages sit on page one of Google and many are in the top spot for some very thought out keyword phrases.

We do no PPC at the moment and almost all our advertising is through article marketing so don't ever let anyone tell you that article marketing is dead.  It does take time and effort but once you get good at keyword phrasing things go rather smooth.

Let me tell you my partner is a genius when it comes to choosing key words and phrases.

Thanks so much.  JV are Joint Ventures.  The big gurus do it often.  It's kind of like a little click they have.  Basically they share each others lists.

I wish I could do what you are doing, college tuition is looming over our head and my husband is on paid furlough, we don't know if he'll get laid off or not. Plus I feel the need to start making a better income than what I make now, but am not ready to work outside of the home until all my kids are through high school.

I hear Ezines is a good article place?

    1. Dale Mazurek profile image60

Ezine articles is one of my number one tools.  I however at this time am not willing to share my niches.  Anyone making money through affiliate marketing will agree that if they have a good niche they are going to keep it quiet.

What I will tell you is my partner and I make money by thinking outside the box.

I am very very happy for those who are succeeding in the Internet.

I have to say that I am still not able to even start imagining how they do it. Not that I didn't read many a hub that explains the thing. It's just that I'm probably, after Dumb and Dumber, DUMBEST.
Listen, I don't understand why I get points up or down in HubPages, so imagine figuring out how to get money from my writings!!!!!

Still, to write and imagine that at least some of my hubs can be useful to somebody, that's the great thing, and I am so grateful for it. Truly greatful. Truly happy to be in this community.

Now I will disclose for you all my earnings since I started here, more that 2 months ago. You ready? Here goes:

                                $1.64

I think it came from a book that somebody bought from one of my hubs.

Dale and partner: keep on going for it! Congratulations.
