I know that HubPages is always on top of things but I am not. I have a great deal of content here with significant time and effort.

Recently, I saw my hub score drop and I thought the baseline for the quality content was 75 but apparently I have read somehow it is 85.

If the baseline is 85 and I have now dropped to 79, it would have been nice to have an email from HubPages 30 days before to notify me that quality was becoming a severe issue.

I need the email notifications because I have too many other projects outside of this one but this site is valuable to me.

Just a thought to consider. I know the HubPages team doesn't have a perfect crystal ball but I would love to have an email to tap me on the shoulder to prevent this dramatic fall from quality.

    Thank you for listening.

We do not get an email when our hubber-score (or hubscores) are falling. We can see our hubscores on our dashboards, and our hubber-score on our profile avatars. Keep an eye on those and you won't need a heads-up from HP.

      Hi 4FoodSafety,

The reason we don't offer notifications for HubberScore is that this score fluctuates quite a bit. Depending on your activity on HubPages (for example, if you publish several Hubs in one day), your HubberScore might change a couple times in the same day. Most Hubbers would not want to receive piles of automated emails about minor score changes.

It goes up and down depending on your activity on the site. Mine goes down 1 to 3 notches if I don't crank out any hub within a certain period of time. Sometimes it goes up 1 to 2 notches too, without me doing anything. It really boggles the mind! big_smile

I haven't had a problem,, but this is a good idea. Every time a writer's score falls below 85, send them an email to let them know. It could be automatically done. It might help keep quality up on the site too and users might update more often.
