It might be a cool thing but people would truly have to be thick-skinned; I think.

Well, don't try and have it sponsored by AdSense...

There are enough places on the Internet where hate speech is tolerated... it's nothing new.

I have a pregunta I hope someone can answer:

Randy Godwin and I are old friends, and sometimes we cut up with each other on the forums - like we might call each other a "big dummy" or something like that. Can we get banned for that if neither of us complains? This latest action has me wondering...

I think alliances are usually made and readers may flag even if you don't.

The key to not getting banned is to not engage those whose main purpose is to goad people into saying something they will probably regret.

Maybe we should just solve it all the way Darcy and Cleaver did in Bridget Jones Diary

I have to agree with Uninvited Writer.

I hope I dont offend anyone for agreeing with a logical position....

It has gotten to the point where some people are afraid to post on the forum anymore.  People that are respected and active members of the community.  If that is what we can call Hubpages anymore.

I think the idea Kim has is to be totally uncensored.  I am sure a site like that would get a lot of hits but I'm not sure what companies would have the corporate balls to sponsor 100% free speech.
'Cause ya know, free speech is wonderful as long as it doesn't offend anyone who might potentially buy their product or as long as it doesn't offend ME.

Just create some spider webs.  I am sure some hub trolls could help you on this one.

Actually, although I'm new here, what's the real point of attacking what amounts to words on a screen? Somewhere or somehow somebody got annoyed. Over what?

Chances are very good nobody here will ever actually meet, so what are we left with? A photo and some words. If ya don't like the words, move on. A fire won't last without fuel.

words on a screen are all that different to words in the air between mouth and ears?

What it comes down to is very simple. When someone allows themselves to get twisted over the words they see on a screen, who really cares? They're just words. If directed at me, they're just words. I couldn't care less. How do we know for example who the person really is or if it's a person at all?
